Hey all,
Graham regrets to inform you, that as his computer is exporting things really slowly, and that he and Paul have tickets to go see that new Pirate movie, the update will be late.

The irony of course is that in the past month or so it seems (from my point of view) that LRR has been doing more fore-planning than ever before. Note, if you will, the following: For OMG Bears, Paul's bit was filmed before Graham even went to Chetwynd. Unknown amounts of Rapidfire were also filmed (apparently) well before they were to be broadcast. Other stuff I forget. [Edit: Oh yeah, for Life is Like a Movie parts were filmed the week previous when Now in HD came out]
I thought that normally the video is more or less made within a week (like SNL) though sometimes stories were written much earlier (or at least the idea was acquired - as in Hagiography Today).
But where has all this preplanning gone? Later updates, that's where.
Not that I care really, I just think that's funny (if it's true).

Yeah, you're pretty much right there on everything.
The late update thing is that previously I had more time (sometimes all freakin' day) on Fridays to work on the video.
Now that I'm working 9 to 5, if something extra needs doing I have to do it after work. And I forget things. And it takes longer. And it takes forever to render the video, thanks to widescreen.
I'm working on a get-it-done-on-Thursday-night system.
Let's see how it goes.
No promises.

I think everyone can agree that in the past few weeks, probobly since about the Wyy episode, there has been a vast overall improvement to the general quality of the videos, because of pre-planning, the new camera, the lrrcast, everything has become much better.
If I have to trade the video being a few hours later than usual for the improvements we've seen, then so be it, I think we got a pretty awesome deal.
