Because I might be working there soon. And it seems nice, but what do Chesterites think of it.
Also, if you want to help me get a job, please come down to Games Workshop Chester and buy stuff off me at 11.
Peace

Oh hey dude, yeah I live in Chester. It's... actually, it's not great. Perhaps I just feel that way because I've been living here too long.
I would buy some GW stuff, but... I don't play any more and would have no use for it. Sorry. 11 on what day? Today? Or tomorrow?

Don't live in Chester but shared a flat with a guy from Chester, he seemed to think it was pretty nice, I think his only complaint was it was 'surprsingly empty' for it's size.

I'll be there on the 9th of march.
Probably have a wander around afterwards.

I often pass through/change at Chester when leaving North Wales via the train network. Um, yes, I thought you needed to know.
It is most certainly a city which I have a sad association with.

I thought Chester was full of pretty people and serial killers, or has Hollyoaks lied to me?

I tease. I grew up on the Wirral, but haven't been to Chester for about 16 years.

It's not a great place to live, at least not for me. No culture, no sociable geeks, nothing interesting to go out and do.
House, I'll try and remember you'll be here on the 9th, and come hang out for a while, but I may very well also completely forget.

Didn't the Warner Brothers shop sell Pokemon cards? That's geek.

There hasn't been a Warner Brothers shop here in over ten years.

Re: Do You Live In Chester, UK?
I've been to Chester, if that counts. I have to agree that it wasn't a riveting experience, but it wasn't the most boring place I've ever seen, either.

Re: Do You Live In Chester, UK?
I'm from Chester. It's an alright place, although certain areas aren't great for pedestrians (and other parts just aren't great at all, but that's true for most cities). The city centre's quite a nice place though, and if you're interested in Roman Britain it's a useufl place to at least visit.
Yeah, we are a bit lacking on that.
There are actually, they may not necessarily be the easiest to find, but they are there. For example, there are 2 sci-fi/fantasy book clubs which meet monthly, and from what I've heard there's a fair few wargamers kicking around the place as well.
Yeah, this is also something of a problem.

I changed trains there on my way from Conwy in the North of Wales to near Grasmere in the Lake District.
It has a train station.

Yeah, and apparently it's quite good. I haven't been in ages, and it's pretty expensive.

Re: Do You Live In Chester, UK?
It is amazing. I strongly recommend the Bat Cave. Have you ever wanted a bat to fly into your face in the gloom but to narrowly miss you? Then your fantasy can be fulfilled there.
Yes it is expensive. So if you go there, make sure you have a whole day. Don't take much because it's 2miles of very very very slow walking (mainly because of the twats with noisey families hogging the displays). Take a camera most certainly.
Oh, and if your heart does not melt when you see the Giant Otters then you aren't truly human.
