So I was at the gym today and I saw somebody with a small ~10lb weight for a lifting bar and it reminded me of the earth discs used in the arena. THen I though, "wow, that'd suck if he dropped it. Wait, what about the ones made of earth FLYING at you?"
So I'm wondering now, WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE MADE OF? Like, the ones who punch chunks of earth flying that them with no damage themselves. Or the ones who punch or swipe fire away. I mean, if after hundreds of years they're resistant/immune, you couldn't so easily KILL somebody with fire or earth as they usually tend to.
Suggestions?

The whole Korra/Avatar universe has some rather "cartoon" physics going on anyway. (I mean, how the heck does a bit of rock and water throw somebody several meters up in the air and backwards off the field)

The best examples of wonky physics probably come from Sokka. Dude cuts through meter thick steel with a single swing of his sword. (Although it is a SPACE sword...)

In unrelated news...

Okay, so since I've only just finished watching all of Avatar (and loved it, it was utterly amazing), I can't be bothered to read through 23 pages of thread, gonna just ask it here. Where is the best place for me to go and watch Legend of Korra on the interwebs?

Since you're in England... I'm afraid that might be the only answer.

For anyone else who stubles upon this, and IS in the US, though. DO NOT torrent it.

Every episode of Korra (and every episode of Avatar, in fact) is available legally on nick.com.

http://www.nick.com/videos/legend-of-korra-videos?navid=showNav

I'd hate for them not to be able to make more series of the show because they don't get good view numbers. :(

I'm actually in Switzerland at the moment, but I also have ways and means, and actually watched the majority of Avatar on nick.com, so I'll see if I can't watch Korra there as well!

Edit: Not sure if I was looking in the wrong place, but it seems that under the Full Episode list for Korra, they only list 6 videos, and they seem to be the latter 6, rather than the former, so if I want to start from the beginning it seems that I'll have to take my business elsewhere...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm! They used to have all the episodes up. They must have taken them down since.

So, as you were.

I dunno if you've found anything yet, but the best torrents I've found is from this guy: http://kat.ph/user/Daman4Life/

Seriously. Best goddamn quality I've found.
