Toonami aftermath

Postby plummeting_sloth » 26 Mar 2012, 07:44

So I found this the other day, not entirely sure how long it's been going so I suppose there's a slim possibility this has been posted here before. But I had to freaking shout from the rooftops... it's all there people! It's a live channel with all the original shows, all the original bumps, the weekend anime movies and MST3K (plus new Rifftrax stuff!). A running live chat over everything. It's really cool people and now I've lost a few days there. A very good mix of early Adult Swim and what came before

I remember when I was like, 8 and used to try and stay up late to watch Speed Racer and Neon Genesis Evangelion on Cartoon Network. Well, there goes my productivity for the next month... Not that I was doing anything productive with my life anyway. But hey, CARTOON!

Well it's fan done, I think. No reason to dick about with region locking.

Outlaw Star. Tenchi Muyo. Gundam Wing. You monster : (

I remember remember the debut of those on Sky over here, the snippets they showed as teasers and eagerly awaiting each new episode. It's far easier to just find them online, but nostalgia is the enemy of logic sometimes.

I will say though that when a popular movie comes up on the weekend rotation, sometimes the lag gets to be unbearable. Just a heads up.

Yeah... I think it got linked to on reddit a few days backs (which, through a web of friends links, was probably how I found it) so I think it got a bad case of the friendliest DDOS attack around.

Before I found out about Toonami Aftermath (last November) I'd never seen an episode of Berserk or Mobile Suit Gundam. And when I found out that they run episodes of MST3k I was understandably stoked.

Huh, didn't think it would still be around. Watched it for a few days last year. Maybe I should get back into it. Beats almost everything thats on TV right now anyway

That is devious. You are a super villian living in a secret base on a vulcano island somewhere in the pasific aren't you?
