Ok, to be fair, you're both talking about basically the same thing, just in two different places.
Also, all my favorite characters in this comic are drunk.

You know, despite everything that's happened in Homestuck, I'm still not sure I understand the proper etiquette for a human to attempt to woo a troll.

Re: Homestuck
The hosting location is partially flooded. The main power company failed, the main backup generators got destroyed, and the backup backup generators ran out of fuel.
At this point I'm a little more concerned about the people working there...

Wow....... Didn't know that the damage was that big. Hope people there are okay.

...I wonder how all the people who felt that there were too many characters when the trolls first showed up feel now? XD

Re: Homestuck
Oh shit! Do you reckon that ring John found is a ring from one of the Royals in Caliborn/Calliope's game?
As far as I'm aware, their sprite never got prototyped, explaining the lack of pearls ornamenting it. And I think that maybe putting it on will let the wearer interact with Callie's ghost (for some reason).
What do you guys think?

Re: Homestuck
It's certainly an interesting possibility! I wonder if that would explain why it went with.

OK I'm glad the answer to this isn't obvious because this is what I guessed, but I wasn't sure if I had missed something that had confirmed or denied this.
But yeah this is what I'm thinking too.
Man that Strife was ridiculous.

Re: Homestuck
It's my understanding that the ring is originally the one Hussie used to propose to Vriska in the DOTA flash thing. It was my understanding that it came from the B2 session, which also has no prototypings and therefore no towers. We've even seen a zero-orb ring before, on DD when he did the Red Miles and blew up everything. But I like your theory way better.

Naaaaaah. Just like Jade's shirt represented the big bad for the first half of the story (Jack prototyped with Bec), Jake's shirt represents the big bad for the second half of the story: Lord English. The only shirt I can't figure out is Dirk's. Why is the hat important? Dave's Record was obviously important, re:the scratch. Rose's represented the Eldrich horrors, obviously very important. Roxy's is Mutie who represents the ectobiology, important. The slimers... uh... are... slimers? I dunno. But Dirk's is just a HAT. WTF does that mean?!
Also I love how much this short act implies. We can fill in the details on all their adventures with our IMAGINATIONS. Also Jake and Dirk got matching tattoos. LET THE SHIPPING COMMENCE.
Gaaaaah I need to get my boyfriend into MSPA. He hasn't had time to read it yet and I want to get him hooked so he can freak out with me.

Eh, at least one of us will make it out as a rainbow drinker, and I'm pretty sure I'd be okay with getting offed on the condition that my head is used for something awesome. Oh, and bidbot would make it out, since it's clearly god tier.
Re: Homestuck
So I've been reading Homestuck. I'm up to Act 5 Act 2. It's good stuff!

Re: Homestuck
So apparently his wings were fake? Or, you might say, just a RUSE? (No, but seriously, if he is god tier, that's kind of a just death, I think. It makes no sense, but that's par for the course..)
