Well it's still part of the skit, though. The part in which it tells you "don't call your parents in the next half hour. Trust us" or something like that. In universe, it seems pretty likely that if it's part of a plan, it's either the Friends and Family or the Everyone.

I'm sure it wasn't obvious at all. I wasn't moving very fast so I wasn't out of breath.

On a related note, I've held entire phone conversations while asleep. I hate it when I wake up, vaguely remember just saying "bye" and see I was on the phone with someone important for five minutes. Say, a boss. And having NO idea how the conversation went.
