You can't really force this kind of thing. Sometimes nerves can get the better of you and things just get weird.

Best advice I have is to talk about it and build it up together. Don't think you have a goal to reach, but instead just have some fun and see what happens. Once the pressure is off your body knows what to do.

Some people can't have sex without having a connection first (more or less deep, more or less meaningful) and some people can't form a connection without having sex first.

You're not weird. I've had casual sex and found I got nothing out of it. You may be the same way. Once you know how you work, you know what to look for and what to avoid
