Debated it for all of three seconds before realising how much it would cost me to fly there, even if I see LRR people + yahzee.

It's in America and I'm scared of the big wide world and cannot afford it. I won't be attending.

Much as I would love to attend (and I *really* would) I sadly cannot due to lack of fundage.

My wife and I will be in attendance. Have our passes booked and hotel room - just have to figure out how we're getting there.

Kapol, you can only say Kapol when you speak to the crew. English with everyone else is fine.

Easier yes, cheaper no. I would love to go, but I to am hindered by the big mass of water separating the continents. I miss Pangaea.

Well, don't know if they'll make it to MagFest again and it is during a lul in the school year for me. And compared to most cons, it's not THAT far away. Put me down as a solid maybe.

Just make sure Paul doesn't use it as an excuse to perform some kind of experiment. Or encourage him to do so. Either works.

Oh, okay - you're gonna cover my three months of lost wages...oh wait, then I have to walk back - SIX months? AND have someone else pick up my workload at the deli so they don't end up short-handed over the entire summer when everyone's taking some vacation time on a carefully-organized rota? :P

Then there's some place to sleep while in Durham - I used to know people there, but they moved to rural NC. You wanna let me kip on the floor of your hotel room? I'm a heavy sleeper so anything you and your wife get up to, I'm sure not to notice.

But on the plus side, I can probably swing the fee for the 3-day pass all on my own! Image

Shouldn't Mrs. Lord Hosk be Lady Hosk? Or have I been reading too much Game of Thrones?

That would, at the very least, depend on whether "Lord" is Hosk's title, or just part of his name, and if the former, the peerage tradition it was granted from.

Lord is just his first name. Hosk, though, is an honorific bestowed on his family by Emperor of the West Norton.
