I'm going to have to wake up tomorrow at 8:30 to go to the Job Centre who I hate because I don't have a slip of paper saying if I have an appointment or not. Good job IRLl isn't an RPG. Heads will roll otherwise.

I'm grouchy because of early start and travel sickness. Throw in recent events, I may be a demon. Who knows. Lets not find out.

I applied for the job. I never recieved any correspondance. I am confused. Hungry for blood. I cannot prove that I have done because I don't keep track of this nature because I don't expect to be falsely accused.

I'm going to be penalised because the system is shit. It's nice that they're chasing after the innocent and not the real sponges.

Have you tried calling said company directly to confirm they got your letter? (i've had companies completely "lose" correspondence, but find it within 2 minutes when specifically asked for it. I can't imagine any company would give you a hard time about it if you quickly explain the situation.

Nicholas, I have been in a similar situation. I didn't know the guy responsible.

The rage is a big part of it, but it passes, don't do something you will regret later. Not that you'll forgive, but the blind rage fades. More important is to be there for your friend. They'll have a whole load of stuff going on right now, the best that you can do is to help them keep it together in whatever way is most appropriate. I just sat up and talked with her for as long as she needed. When things calm down a bit, then you work out how you proceed with regards to the bastard.

My mum suggested to me getting a job there. I was almost sick in response.

Well, doc said it was probably a cyst, and that it's so infrequently NOT a cyst in this kind of thing, that they're comfortable waiting and seeing if something changes. Waiting for two cycles, even. That's fine, but if it keeps hurting, I will not be happy. Although I can't find it now, which isn't doing a good job of making me think I'm not delusional.

Speaking of lumps...

FUUUUUUUUUU.... I'm all itchy again. I scratch and them red whelps appear. My feet have 9 scabs from scratching raw. I know WHAT it is but not WHAT is causing it. My bed unfortunately :(

I believe its some pet odor I put on it before my family arrived a month and half ago. This stuff when it's on my feet burns and it's only change I've had in my room. I slept out on the living room couch for two days and was good to go and now it's back after ONE night. I don't want to get rid of it but I may have to :(. I've cleaned and vacuumed it already again but nothing helps. FRAK.

Went into the Job Center today and I asked about the letter. I had nice mature compassionate lady which was nice, because I really needed to be grandmothered.

Basically, I DID apply for a job. Just I didn't go to the interview because I never recieved any correspondance from the Shop (Me actually wanting it is a different matter. It was 10 miles away and I'd have been projectile vomitting after each journey every twice everyday for the rest of my working life).

The nice lady helped me fill out reasons and suggested to me to include that "I always check my phone" and "answer phone". I also mentioned that because of the quantity of job I apply for and that most of them I never hear back from, I am rather pessimistic at getting a response:- I don't have restless nights thinking "Oh no, this Pet store hasn't got back to me yet!"

So yeah, I won the empath of my Job Center advisor, but it's not up to her. It's down to the people in Wexham who use emotionaless cold logic to condem you. I know I'll be punished because the Admin Office are ****s.

I might take up the advice of going to the Sun or something to get some money. "Job Center Makes Son Of Cancerous Mother Destraught" has a nice over-dramatic ring to it.
(I don't have a spell checker at work).

I'm glad I had actually applied because some jobs they suggest me to apply for I lie about due to how far away they are. I was worried that they had a system that detected me lying (that would have been very creepy that they were WATCHING ME). I only lie to those who deserve to be lied to.

--
UPDATE The nice lady resolved it for me. Lets see if it is resolved. Ah well, I can rest easy now. Nothing more I can do apart from arson.

The welsh has resolved many problems with arson.

When bomb schools were built in Britain to teach people to make bombs for the war effort, many people protested. The government closed down all the bomb schools in England. But didn't for the Welsh school. So three Welshmen burnt it down.
Fire is the solution to everything. I think Elomin Sha has more in common with Wales than he realises.

My condolences.

To avert this thread turning into general chat. The copy of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy with the 3 others arrived today not-quite the described condition. It said 'New', it is in fact 'shelf-worn'. Grumble.

Basically when a book gets 'eroded by the elements' by being in storage; being bumped slightly when someone is being clumsy with handling stock.

Fucking virus. I turn my computer on for the first time in a WEEK, try one google search, and suddenly all of my programs are paralyzed by this fake antivirus. Grrr. And of course all of the 'how to remove' things just want you to use their tools WHICH I CAN'T DOWNLOAD BECAUSE THIS MALWARE WON'T LET ME ACCESS THE INTERNET.

One of my good friends dad passed away today. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I believe. It was so bad they couldn't tell where it came from because his whole body was taken over by it. He was told he didn't have long to live. This all happened about a month before her wedding. It brought up so many emotions on my end because it was eerily familiar to something that happened right before my own wedding with almost losing a parent. They had started a clinical trial for him, and things were looking up but I guess last night he passed away. It really breaks my heart because there is nothing I can do to make my friends feel better. They all lost an amazing father and there will forever be that pain and hole in their lives. I hate saying "I'm sorry for your loss" or "my condolances" because it seems like the forced thing to say that never makes anyone feel better. I want to take her out to the shooting range, put up a big sign that says cancer and tell her to shoot the fuck out of it. I know she's angry. I know she is sad. It breaks my heart that these young girls had to lose their dad so early.
