When thing happens and social media erupts with missing the point.

When people get agitated by a sincere offering because they don't understand and therefore get offended.

When mentioning in detail the thing brings hatred.

People have so much hatred bottled up, that they release it when a terrible thing happens.

OK, so I got all of my paperwork filed for this job. One of the forms had to be signed by a non-family member. I asked whether I could submit it on Sunday because of that. I was told yes, particularly since everything else checked out. So I got it signed, and submitted it. Today I receive a message that "since I did not get my paperwork filed on-time, that they believed I had chosen not to pursue the job and found employment elsewhere." They said that they had "tried to contact me" regarding this, which was completely false.

I am hoping this is a simple misunderstanding. However, if I don't get this job because someone lied to me, I will be seriously pissed off. :-( Image

I just wanted to get a drink and fix the internet to keep watching desert bus.

The connection on my end of the ethernet cable is broken, I fixed that, but websites now stutter while loading which didn't happen before. I finished, looked over as I went to reach for my gigantic refillable slurpee cup full of red cordial, 750mls in fact. As it collapsed under its own weight and went all over me, my bed, my desk, the front of my computer, and in order to not go all over my power thing that has 4 power ports on it, I most likely gave myself a concussion. I'm almost out of tobacco and of course smokes calm me down. And when all is finally done, I finally have a new drink, go to drink it and the straw I got had holes in it.

So then, when all is finally said and done and I'm starting to come down, I start at TVtropes and wind up at the wiki page for a bunch of psychological dissorders, which is a GREAT idea since I'm halfway through Delerium and hating how close it matches up with me. Going to psychological dissorder pages on wiki is always bad for me, I must be seriously messed up in the head considering according to these I could have more than a dozen dissorders. And no, not being a hypochondriac who constantly thinks he has cancer, I can give a detailed explanation of how all these things fit me, doesn't mean I have them, but definitely means I should get someone who can tell if I do or not to look at me. I'm gonna laugh at this post if a few months from now it turns out I'm a bi-polar autistic manic-schizophrenic suffering delirium or something like that.

Living in the South, I have A LOT of people who support Trump for president right now.

Having to debate them when they're main argument is "I don't want a woman bitching up the White House" is an exercise in frustration. I feel like Sisyphus trying to explain why there's no substance to his claims or how none of his shit makes sense.

Urgh.

I never want to say anyone is full evil or full good... He won't take money from lobbyists, and he's good at working the money system. Otherwise, though, he's bat-crazy insane. I've got a lady in my church who's on the Trump Train and I used to respect her.

a friend of mine, a person i have been friends with for five years decided the other day that because i started talking to him more (because of a rpg he was going to be running) and then stopped talking to him for a short time (because the rpg got canceled and i was in the middle of my last two weeks of study) that i was just using him and he no longer wanted to be friends.

he sent this to me in a Facebook message and then blocked me before i could respond.

suffice to say its torn me up a little and pissed me off a lot.

My ex keeps making thinly-veiled social media posts about me but we still follow each other on pretty much every social media platform so I can't complain about it.

Also we broke up like four months ago and haven't spoken in two so like. Give it a rest.

Updated to Windows 10. It kept me up 2 hours last night. Hard to sleep with a glowy PC in your room.

It disorganized my carefully organised images. Stuff to make prints off to sell on various goods (difference sizes and edits), photo albums, portfolios of work etc (porn).

It decided to organise stuff by date. Meaning it was a mess and I had soft porn scattered amongst my artwork.

Solutions by the Microsoft team was DOWNLOAD AN APP THAT DOES STUFF and to ignore the original question by the user.

So, fuck that.

Rolled back the update. I've lost faith with Microsoft. Going to go Mac for professional work. PC is still serviceable for casual use. But Microsoft can get fucked if they think it's fine to make my PC "more accessible" at the expense of letting me modify it. Microsoft think that we're children and we shouldn't worry our pretty heads about organising images outside of "date of conception".

It looks like my LRR dvds got lost in the move to the new house :( I guess I'll ask for replacements for Christmas, but I'll miss my season 2 and 3 ones.

I should have been more careful when I was packing. Maybe they'll turn up when I move (again) in June.

I'm getting increasingly fed-up with people not knowing the difference between a pedophile and a child-molester, and treating the former like the latter.

Paedophile is someone who is attracted to children aged 5-10 (doesn't have to act on the likes). Child-Molester acts on said attractiveness and in some cases they don't have this attractiveness. Infantophilia 0-3, hebephilia 11-14.

Yeah, Elomin pretty much summed it up there. I just get tired of seeing people demonize pedophiles. Child Molesters are the monsters, not pedophiles. In the little research that has been done (and not much CAN be done as one as anyone conducting those studies would have to report anyone who approaches them about being a pedophile, which not many want to do, since it could easily ruin their life, meaning less research being able to be done and thus we have a very hard time actually finding a way to help them) it's been proven that in the case of most pedophiles it's a malfunction of the brain, essentially. When they should receive a nurturing instinct (i.e. see a child) they feel arousal instead. It's not like they up'd one day and thought "Hey! I think I'm gonna get the jollies on for children!".

So, yeah, I get fed up with seeing pedophiles treated as if they're automatically a child molester because feelings/urges that they have no control over, and thus can't stop themselves from feeling, but they CAN and many DO stop themselves from acting upon it.

I just... Imagine how horrible that must feel.

The world chooses to make rape jokes about people in prison.

The world cannot fathom compassion.

I am fed up too of this.
