I hope so too. The last hurricane went around my city. And I mean just my city, it opened up as it approached us, the storm wall revolved around the city and the storm went north. Everyone around us got hit, we didn't even get rain.

Fuck. I managed to break my pen after checking if the cartridge had actually been pierced.

Bluuuuuh I was in class talking to my friends about horror games, and I brought up Amnesia. After it was brought up one of my friends said it was 'not fun'. I was about to start an argument, but then I didn't because I didn't want to be 'that guy'. I mean, sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the way he said it was 'not fun' came off as very ignorant. I might be a bit over reacting, but putting off a game I like just like just makes me bluuuuuuh.

Stand behind him when he plays it then whisper "boo" in his ear at appropriate moments.

My boss let us know yesterday at 9pm that she wanted us in Bond theme costumes while working this weekend. I don't own a tux (or an evening dress, for that matter) so I've got to somehow get one cheaply before 6 tonight.

I was initially tempted to but I'm not sure if my boss has that sort of a sense of humour.

Do you have a suit or sport coat? JB has worn those much more often than an evening jacket, to wit; http://thesuitsofjamesbond.com/.

He also wears various types of casual wear - half of Quantum of Solace was spent wearing chinos, a polo, and a Harrington jacket, and chinos and various sport shirts are very common in tropical/Carribean settings.

Hell, even jeans;

My clothing usually just consists of jeans and a geeky shirt, but I've been wanting a suit for a while so I just used it as an excuse to buy one.

FWIW I wouldn't buy a suit on such short notice, barring a lucky thrift find. A suit can and should last for years, so I recommend taking a good amount of time to find one. Especially since it would require tailoring.

But this is more for the Menswear thread, so.

Why do I only ever get sick enough to ruin an evening and a night of sleep, but never enough to justify taking a day off work?

Also, why does this cold make my face hurt?

HoN rant:
Mid Wars mode:

S2 who makes HoN has a reputation of releasing new heroes that are overpowered:

I pick the new hero.
Enemy team sarcastically: I wonder if the new S2 is OP again.

The enemy team consisting of a hero which breaks Mid Wars and is often banned because it is so over powered.

beramode0 some people are just completely retarded. I'm sure your class person would also say Black Ops The Line isn't fun and completely miss the point.

My head is playing tricks on me.

EDIT: I realized this looks way too much like the old 'vague drama-queen facebook post' so I figured I'd elaborate a bit.

I suffer from ridiculously low self-esteem, and this in turn tends to result in situations that make me feel pretty bad overall.

I totally just got the memory card for my camera stuck in my laptop. And if I can't get it out then I won't be able to take any more pictures of my little brother and my son playing. And I won't be able to take the pictures off that I already took. This sucks! I even got this amazing picture of my brother dumping a pile of leaves on my son's head. And the two look like brothers!

I have no idea how it is stuck, but have you tried eyebrow tweezers?

Yes. I even tried toothpicks. But I pushed it into the slot for memory cards, and it got stuck! I'm taking it to Staples ssometime today to have them remove it.
