The frustrating part is that I did that and it didn't work, but then I did it again and it did work. So fuck if I know what the problem was the first two times, but at least it did work out in the end.

My mum's solution to making herself not depressed when she feels low is to do things to take her mind off it, including job searching for me and insists that I stand there/sit near by as she reads out jobs for me.

Thanks mummy, I am not 16. I don't need my hand held when 'striding into the big wide world'. Especially since I can do this myself. Annoyingly I had orders I needed to pack up ready for dispatch from Amazon (as Thursdays I roll over Wednesday's Afternoons' over to Friday due to 100% busy on Thursday). She doesn't believe I have to motivation to job search. Oh I do, I just have depression spells like you have where I'm demotivated, and then I get happier and do something and then you get depressed and drag me down with your depressing presence. Also I feel like it's funny that I must prove to my own mother than I am looking for jobs, like I am having to do with the Job Centre.

This is not a 'teenage rant at mummy'. Mum had cancer so it's not so shallow. I also cannot say this to her face because it'll probably make her feel suicidal at worse. Hurray for emotional endurance. Hey, at least she's indirectly inspiring me to get a job. I can not feel guilty about wanting to get away from her when she's in mopy mode.

Lump in arm pit is a cyst and the infection thankfully never reached my lungs. If it did, I'd have had to have gone straight to hospital. So it definitely could have been worse and glad it got caught early.

That's good - I was gonna say lymph node.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I wanted it checked out as soon as possible. And I had a GOOD doctor today so she wanted me checked out as soon as possible too! And she checked everything. And even gave me some medicine to stop me throwing up, which was nice of her. Most of the time I just hear "Get some rest and drink plenty!"

I don't read the venting threads too much, so I probably missed the initial lung infection vent, but if you don't mind me asking what kind of lung infection is it? I read you said you've been dealing with it for 3 years so it must be serious.

I once had a lump in my armpit; it turned out to be a HUGE pimple.

No idea yet. Been battling with doctors to find an answer. I get stabbing pains in my chest and sometimes I feel all the air just exhumed from my lungs. But I was also born with under-developed lungs and riddled with infections according to my mum. A story I hadn't heard about until a few years back! I had priests in at one point!

So yeah, most of my life I've been on and off with chest infections and so on but the past few years, everything has been crushing me. And I'm actually considering going back into martial arts but back down as a white belt so I can build myself back up from scratch. It's going to suck sparring with the newbies again but I can't take any chances with my body until I'm better.

Reminds me of my buddy who only has one gigantic lung and one lump of mucus in his chest (birth problems). Still a badass, though.

You know music that uses themes of other music by using certain phrases of other songs or pieces of music? That done right is incredible.

You know 3 hours of music that is a remix of one Skyrim song with what has the potential to be highly original and incredible music but you want it to "fit with Skyrim" so you keep using that same phrase over and over in the background for 3 hours? That pisses real composers off.

Hell, it pisses the ORIGINAL composer off! He's had to hear that piece over and over and over and over for weeks on end looking for tiny mistakes that aren't there but in his head IT JUST MIGHT BE! And a year later, he's actually happy with what he's done! And then you bastardise it!

What you have done is on the musical level of the "Arrow to the knee" meme. I told you that on the first album. I told you that you had the potential to create highly original stuff. And one of your pieces? Was actually pretty impressive! Second album! More of the same repeats! You're making a third album! And already your very first preview song is the Skyrim main theme chant in the background of an orchestra!

BUT WHAT DO I KNOW! AS MOST LIKELY THE ONLY MUSICIAN TO CRITICISE YOUR WORK!

ACTUALLY! To further clarify, Streets of Whiterun in Skyrim actually uses a hint of another Morrowind piece of music and changes it! It's SO subtle that it left me with the feeling of an earlier Elder Scrolls game but clearly stood out on its own rights. That is how it is done on a master level that I don't think even I could accomplish! Outright copy and pasting entire segments of music just ISN'T RIGHT!

Oh and for those wondering exactly what I mean about a subtle reference:

Skyrim - Streets of Whiterun
Morrowind - Explore 4

Okay, just listened to SportsNet's coverage of the Men's Medley, with Lochte getting gold and Phelps not even getting to the podium; I wish I ever feel HALF as excited about ANYTHING in my life as that female commentator did about the race. (just give her a damn vibrator and be done with it!)

I hate hate hate hate head lice. And after spending the past three weeks making sure my own head lice infestation was thoroughly dealt with (after picking it up from this client) I really hate coming into work on a Sunday morning and going through the whole process of a deep clean of this client's house too. Especially when I can't help but wonder why the regular team members at this house didn't do all this weeks ago.

Yeah, I know it's all part of the job and I should be used to it and/or just deal with it. But head lice are probably my least favourite work related trouble ever.

My internet's decided to randomly work at half capacity, but not int he way you'd think.
Certain sites just stop working. Including the LRR site, Imgur, hotmail, G+, Facebook works but not FB chat.
Better now though.

But now that it's working properly I find out Gerard can't come to Manifest this year. It's not gunna be the same without him.

I feel like, what was once my sanctuary (like when you're upset away you start to prey to yourself "I want to go home"). I find myself now saying that, whilst being at home.
I find my bubble of coping with real-life is dying and I have no escapeness any more.
All because my mother is very vocal about me getting a job, but my problem is so much greater than "mummy is cross at me". Hence why I didn't just say that because some forum-users hate 'adolescent teenagers complaining about their parents'.

Sorry for my bad attempt at a joke.

I can see two solutions to your problem, but one might not actually be possible and the other is not one you're going to like.

But whether you were looking here for a solution or not, I'm sorry that things have gotten this far for you. I hope things start going in your favour soon.

That musician/mod maker I was ranting about was more interested in pandering to the masses and making it feel familiar. But the few pieces he did originally, although being the best of the bunch, actually got less of a positive feedback from the average guy and MORE feedback from real musicians! And he felt that it was a numbers game at the start, really. }

So hopefully now I have dragged him onto the right path! MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN MUSIC! BE YOUR OWN MUSICIAN!

I guess I can tick off another box off of the list of essential travel experiences: my phone got stolen. Suffice it to say that it was entirely my fault and that to share any further details would make me feel even more foolish than I already do. I got over it fairly quickly, brushing it off with a few pithy statements about living and learning and so on while taking in the free pint and pat on the back offered by the nearest bystander, but now I keep getting hit by all the additional things that I'm now missing: no alarm clock, lost contacts, and the fucker got my headphones too, which for some reason really bothers me. I guess I've learned a good lesson, and I'm less likely to be that stupid in the future, and my phone's a few years old and has a huge crack down the screen so hopefully that will bite him in the ass somehow, but still.
