Yes- especially since you can play this online version for free.

Or, play Apples to Apples- it's basically the same game, except you'll be willing to play Apples with children in the room.

CAH is literally Apples to Apples for horrible people.

It's a delight.

Clearly you've never played with me or my friends when the Anne Frank card comes out.

That card is a gem. A horrible horrible gem.

But, best Apples to Apples round I've ever heard of?

I don't know if my friends invented this, or if it was a thing before, but whenever Apples to Apples comes out they like to play something they call, "I like my women like I like my apples." It's pretty wonderfully horrible.

Well, then someone pulls the card "Japanese" and says something about it... and then the best play from the first game, someone else pulls "Japan" and says, "I like my women like I like Japan... Ben already got this one." Much laughter was had.

I mean, I remember a while back we were all joking about how Kathleen can write some REALLY dark and twisted comedy, but she doesn't do that all the time anymore.

CAH at PAX East at the Gearbox game night was pretty amazing, especially when you have LRR there who also appreciate twisted humor (need I remind you of the Lifetime presents..." round? :P)

So, we can all agree that Saturday is the day to do this meet-up, right?

How about a meet-up two hours prior to the LRR Panel and then we move en-masse to the queue room about an hour before?

The best round I've heard of was 'Loud' -> 'Challenger Explosion', but yours totally blows that out of the water. :D

OK - where?

I'm leaving on my trip tomorrow morning and will be incommunicado. If someone would be so kind as to PM the final deets (as I'll not be checking the site since I won't have access) that would be great.

I look like this:
Image

Say hi if you see me! I probably won't be wearing a suit... probably. The only geek shirt I might wear will be a gray LRR Starburst. Otherwise I'll be the prep-douche who looks like he's about to give you a swirly. Probably scowling.

If everyone's fine with the Meetup for Saturday at 1pm near the LRR booth, I say we go ahead and make it official.

Additionally, I tend to tweet a lot during PAX (cause I'm a nerd like that) - and its a good way to stay in touch on the floor. For anyone else who has twitter and wants to do something during PAX I'm @sarahmendiola. Let's be twitter buddies! :D

Not gonna be able to check in on the forum much between now and then, so if someone could keep me in the loop @darkmorford that'd be awesome.

See you all at PAX!

I'll have extra bumps to hand out. Ask me if you see me, I'll be the guy with a red hat full of buttonneering buttons and either a Five Iron Frenzy shirt, Twilight Sparkle shirt, or Creepy Doll shirt.

So since this seems to be the only PAX thread you guys have. I just thought i'd mention, if you guys at pax get time, maybe swing past hte LoL booth, traditionally the codes they hand out at events for limited skins (PaX Jax) wind up worth $50-100 after a few months. Also they are REALLY limited. I've only seen two of them.

Just a thought.

It didn't survive the trip back home from PAX East. Oh well.

I delivered my cards to the table this morning, mostly because I didn't want to carry them around the rest of the day. I started pulling stacks and stacks from the box, then asked, "So, do you guys need a box for these cards?"

They took my box...
