I'll likely be there, even if it's just for one day. As usual my friend Reaperfox has a table she'll be selling fine video games/my little pony arts at.

And because I know some arsehole will gimme shit about it, here's the other thread. Someone should probably fudge these two together; possibly Drinnik since he started the other thread, or Keab since he started this one.

I'm going to be in London, at a Hotel near to the Expo, but may be limited to how much time I spend at the Expo due to coming down with a hard to shrug off head cold that is just making me fall asleep most of the

I intend to cosplay this time around. If you follow me on Twitter you'll have seen the props taking shape. Almost time to paint them now...

If I manage to spend extended periods at the Expo, I'll be wearing an amusing pair of bunny ears on my hat...

Re: London MCM Expo
I do not believe this.
I can't go to MCM tomorrow because I have other plans which I can't really cancel.
RoosterTeeth will be at MCM.
Okay it's only Geoff, Ben and Gavin but still...
RAEG!

Queue for Rooster Teeth was impressive today
Re: London MCM Expo
Been wandering around today dressed as blue sniper. Much bigger show than the one earlier in the year and very very busy.
Not sure if ill cosplay tomorrow, today has been harrowing trying to avoid prop damage.

Re: London MCM Expo
Pity I didn't see you there. Mind you, maybe that shouldn't be a surprise, what with the crush of people. It really was packed to the gills today. I blame the weather. Went outside for another meetup between downpours and everybody else complained bitterly about the cold. This actually started something of a kerfuffle within the party when someone wanted outside watching people Gangnam Style dancing while someone else wanted inside with the warmth.

Re: London MCM Expo
They need better crows control and a better layout of stalls. There were done nasty choke points where a couple of kids nearly got crushed. Excel can handle bigger crowds, it did for the Olympics. They just need to manage people with the same efficiency.

Whoever redesigned the layout needs to be given a good talking to at the very least, those chokepoints were completely ridiculous.
Because I rock at paying attention to these... or any... forum... I will/have been at the event all weekend, so if you see me wandering around today in my blue Final Boss Fight shirt with a camera and a microphone, feel free to say Hello... I might pick on you if you are cosplaying anyway!

Re: London MCM Expo
Thanks for highlighting the perils of posting on a mobile device while half asleep.
I had a great weekend. Got some great swag and I'll post my photos later. Didn't get arrested or tased carrying my props across London, so that was a plus.
Managed to get my LFG issue 1 paperback signed, Lar and Sohmer were surprised because of how old it was. I also got a special version of the 3-volume omnibus that was bound upside down, and they signed that too.
I did manage to play with the Wii U on friday while the booth was quiet, I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Didn't get near the other game booths as the queues were too big even on Friday.
Didn't manage to get to the Primeval or Warehouse 13 panels, but I did get to Eureka on Sunday, which was nice. Didn't bother trying to get anywhere near the signing area, the crowds were too insane, the queue just to buy signing tickets was impossible.
I did get to see the Space Milkshake panel on Friday night as well as watching the film. It's hilarious, so if you get a chance to see it I highly recommend it. Also Billy Boyd is brilliantly funny.
This was my first time cosplaying and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The only problem was the stress of trying to keep the outfit and props intact in the ridiculous crows on Saturday. I didn't bother on Sunday, wanted a stress-free day, although it was quiet enough that I could have managed.
I think I'm going to try to go again, might go for the May one again, although I might leave it until the October one again. I'll see what guests get announced I suppose. Will definitely try to cosplay again, though I'll have to see what inspires me before then.

Re: London MCM Expo
I've seen a number of pictures of women in TARDIS dresses this year. It appears to be a "thing" now, which I will certainly not complain about.

It's bumping time.
Next MCM Expo/Comic Con is 24th-26th May.
I just booked my tickets and hotel, who else is going?
