Don't ask for twelve room keys. Don't ask for sixteen extra pillows. Don't make lots of noise in-room. If you are smart about it, it won't happen.

I know all that. It doesn't really have to make sense, it's just my brain yelling stupid things at me. Trust me, on a consious level I realize that (unless I room with idiots which I doubt) the chances of being found out/kicked out are less then the chances I have of getting hit by a car while I'm there. But there's always that voice whaling on and on about how it's all going to crumble around me.

But I try to ignore that voice. It's not a fun voice and doesn't do well at parties.

Since I've broken up with my boyfriend, there's definitely a spot in the room for Aeric, and I'll have an extra PAX 3-day that I'll be looking to sell at-cost. :/

I've been putting this off for a bit, but I need to find a room for PAX East. I just have been going through some crappy financial stuff [it's so bad I may end up needing to apply for unemployment D:] so I haven't felt right planning it out so much recently.

Why did you have to say that? That's what I'm going to be doing this year... Excpet I think it's 16 hours for me. Of course I still need to figure out what I'm going to do about rooms for sure. Suppose now that it's only two and a half months away I should get that done.

Because it's true. The trip there isn't so bad because you're all excited about PAX. The trip home, especially in comparison to all the fun you just had, is brutal.

On the other hand, I didn't fully think things through, so I'll be getting to Boston at like 1:00 pm on Thursday. I expect to spend several hours at the hotel bar that afternoon until I can get into the room.

But honestly, I'm kind of looking forward to the train meet-up. Hopefully it'll help keep me entertained on the way back, and I intend to take a laptop for the trip so I have something to do. But I do know what you mean about the trip back being longer. During my trip to The Escapist Expo I had to drive both ways. The trip there wasn't that bad (besides getting there an hour and a half later then we thought, which made the last bit much worse). But the trip back? Bleh... it was much worse, and we even ended up taking a couple hours less.

Yeah I'm getting worried, too, I really don't want to be stuck with an extra 3-day, both because of the cost and because I hate for it to go to waste, since I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to go but didn't get their hands on one.

Yeah, I sent messages to both Ditto and Hosk, but I need to say it here.

Unfortunately, PAX East has become a no-go for me this year, so my seat as founding citizen of the RRPT is vacant. Remember how earlier I posted about not knowing what was going to happen with my work hours? Well I found out the truth.

As of March 14th, my store will be closing and I will lose my job.

I mean I could just write IOUs like the 300-lb linebacker of a Fiscal Irresponsibility Fairy on my back is telling me I could do, but that wouldn't be fair to those who I'd be owing. Hell, I've owed Ditto for last years room since last year, and it's finally looking like he'll get repaid soon. I don't want to risk it.

So I won't be able to see you guys at all this year, unless you are in the Poconos, do a Skype thing at the panel, or send some sort of "We Miss You" video. *hint hint?*

I have been struggling a lot this semester with the massive amount of reading I have had to do and was already getting behind then my grandfather died and I missed a week of classes for that. The professors were really nice and let me turn in a few things late and take a exam late but I just cant justify more time off to go to a convention when I am already behind.

Unless I win the Lotto and can just drop out... anyone got any good numbers?

I believe the only pass that was still spoken for was Pika and I contacted her, if anyone else had talked to me about wanting one let me know if you still want it I have 6 now 4 three day and two sets of one day. I posted on the PAX East Facebook page so they will probably go pretty fast.
