PAX Europe will be in Rome sorry.

Honestly, I don't care where in Europe, I'll be there (though it's probably gonna be UK, with the native league being easy to learn and all)

As for everyone going to PAX East: Have a great time!

Pax Romana?

There was also a Pax Britannica.

I think the line starts four hours before the concerts. Some people will be lined up then. I don't think you need to wait the full four hours if you aren't planning on being at the very front, but you should plan on making it your entire evening.

So I'm all packed. Now I just need to use the time to remember what crucial thing I am probably forgetting.

The Pax Britanica was maintained primarily through universal concent though. "Let the British take care of the pirate problem, let the British take care of the American problem, let the British take care of the sub continent" This is clearly evident by the fact that it broke down as soon as anyone challenged it. The dutch let the english be in charge because, their ships got the safety without the hassel, same with the french and the germans.

(gross oversimplification of history)

The Romans maintained peace by dominance.

All other Pax are simply shadows of the roman dominance with the term applied because the time "sorta resembles" the PAX Romana ;)

Hmm... well, I could pretty easily cut the 4-5 hours before the concert starts and try to get in near the front. The big one I wanted to see (404ing it) is going to be streamed, and therefore hopefully recorded, anyways. The only other things that interest me are The Escapist Movie Night, CAH panel, and the Scott and Kris panel.

Suppose I'll need to make up my mind soon. I'm leaving in less than 12 hours and the event itself is less than two days away.

Here's the real question that needs answering:

I haven't started my 3DS Fire Emblem yet. How much would I have to play to get to a point where I could reap the benefits of all the sweet, sweet streetpasses at PAX?

I think it's about 3-4 sections in before the streetpass function can be used. Though, at that point, what happens is that other peoples' avatars start popping onto your map. And if they're higher level (which most will be I'm guessing), then you're not likely going to be able to face them right away. You don't have to fight them though. You can trade with them, buy their leader, and a few other things. The further you get, the more spaces you have for people to appear too.

Now I don't know what to do with myself. I need to go to sleep but there's still so much to be done... I should... I should probably refile all of my receipts, right?! THAT'S A LOGICAL THING TO BE DOING AT 12:30 AM RIGHT??!?!???!?!??!

Ditto, Alexander. I'm in full panic mode, am leaving in roughly... ten minutes, am posting here, and still haven't finished packing. Just finished cleaning up, making duplicate tickets in case I need them, making some 'business cards' (little things to give to people I want to keep in contact with), have most things packed, and still need to pack so much more it feels like.

Back to work. And then... to the train... *shudder*

*cough cough cough*

Oh man, it's been a while. Loading Ready Run was actually the entire reason I went to my first PAX, and now I've been to all the Easts and four Primes. And now I'm dragging myself out of insomnia and to this pax.

I don't think this is secret information, so I will share it: Kapol's a dude.

Also a perpetually spinning whirlygig. But a dude one.

I didnt think it was a secret its just that when referring to oneself online you say I.

So unless your avatar is your picture or have a clearly masculine or feminine name or a combinations of those frequently people wouldnt know and I guess I just assumed he was a he but I dont recall him ever saying "so I pulled out my penis and dipped it in the coffee pot, it really hurt my penis. I dont advise any other guys, like myself because I have a external genitalia, to dip it in hot coffee.

Is there gonna be a LRR fan meetup? It doesn't seem like LRR themselves will host one since they seem more into playing MTG, but what about non-MTG players?
