Hello there, sexy. It's been a while. Too long of a while, to be honest. That's entirely my fault, and I'm sorry.

I use to be around here all the time, sharing my opinions, showing off artwork, and spewing forth snarky comments that, on good days, you wouldn't completely ignore. Those days seem to have gone, and for the most part, that's all on me. Life has gotten in the way, as I'm sure you've expected. I've got a studio and a business that I'm building from the ground up, another day job to help bring in money on the side, and an amazing girlfriend that, for reasons that still mystifies me, continues to grace me with her presence.

... so yeah, things have come up. Lots of things. Damn near all of the things, really.

Still, I joined these forums back in 2009 and we've known each other for a while. We've had good times, too, like [insert memorable experience here]. Or that one time where [insert memorable, slightly NSFW experience here]. You deserve better than me simply forgetting to talk to you.

Gunny: Don't be too jealous. Google Fiber is really only in the core of KC and isn't expanding into, say, Raytown where I live until a year, maybe two out. The Vi Foundry is in one of Google's "Fiberhoods", but at the moment it's being rolled out for residents only. Also, I'm about to lose the Foundry.

Don't worry, I'll hate my buddy Benson who lives downtown for both of us.
