I still need to figure out what I'm going to do. I'm thinking of going all-digital, but I'm not sure my giftee would like that. Plus I'm still not sure what I'd actually get. So yea. Ummm... words.

HFCS is high fructose corn syrup.

Thanks! Also, I found the Desert Bus Lexicon, which has helped explain a lot of memes I didn't know the origin of. Now I can ask fewer stupid questions!

This week has been a whirlwind of long hours at work and anti-depressant withdrawal. Once my brain is firing on more than one neuron I shall begin the process of gifting.

It's possible for a brain to fire on more than one neuron? I was not aware of this!

My sympathy kaeb42, that withdrawal is probably the worst time anyone will ever have, which is sad because you wouldnt be on them in the first place unless you were in a really bad place.

So I got most of the stuff for my santee except for some little things. I bought clay just to prepare for the worst case scenario of me crafting, but I think I will be able to get all the stuff and ship it out next week.

can I just say, customs is a bitch. Coming up with the vaguest possible terms to put on a customs label so the santee will still be surprised is not fun.

I'm still trying to think of something, but I'll assuredly have whatever I pick shipped on time.

I guess I literally did sweeten the pig last year with my inclusion of a whole mess of impulse-purchased novelty bacon stuff.

Are we going to put runner's logos on the boxes so our santees know what the box is before they open it? I can't seem to find the one I used last year.

Would it be possible to let the sender know when the package is received?

I'm not the moderator here but I think these are good ideas mentioned so far.

YES - Draw the LRR logo somewhere on the exterior of the packaging so the recipient knows what it is.

YES - Post in the thread once you have received said package, to put your Santa's mind at ease.

In the opinion of others, how soon should someone who's going digital send their gift?

If it's digital, I'd say week of Christmas.

I already have a couple items for my recipient that I'm definitely sending, but I can't come up with a theme to tie everything together. I don't know much about them & recon is difficult. It's risky, but I might end up having to put together a selection of stuff *I* feel is awesome & hope it works.

Also, as an added note, a LRR arrow on the side of the package will make it move faster through the postal system. You can't prove that it's not going to work that way.

I've got my Santa's gifts collected and just about ready to send off. All that is really left is to package everything up and send it on it's merry little way to [REDACTED].
