I got a Doctor Who Micro Figure. I haven't taken it out of the packaging yet, so I don't know what figure I got.
It should match my son's set nicely. If his ever arrives . . .

Son of a!

Ok I made a really dumb mistake when I shipped my gift and it just arrived back on my doorstep. I'll send it back out again tomorrow.

I'm really tempted to give in and open mine right now. It's been such a long day, and I don't know if I'll be able to fit it in my luggage home, and I just really want to open it.

And after the day in the news that we've been bombarded with, I too want to open mine and feel happy.

Open them if you want! I don't think there is any rule that you HAVE to wait. The Secret Santa is supposed to brighten your day, that's the whole point.

I've already opened mine. I'll post a pic once I can find the second part.

Edit: There may be better Secret Santas, but they don't have...this hat (or this calendar). :D

Okay, it's not actually a hat. :P

Sorry, Met. I opened it. It's great! But my camera's dead. I will post pictures when I get back from break, though.

it seems I was incorrect about the gift I received. I guess the Doctor Who micro figure I recieved was from my sister, meant for my son.
I know this now, as I have just received my super awesome gift. Not sure of my Santa's forum name, but thank you! It's awesome!
And yes, I opened it. I am terrible at waiting for Christmas. Sorry?

For Auberginequeen, since you asked so nicely and my son was kind enough to stand still.

I got one too, along with some chocolate we will (maybe) share. Mine is light blue instead of green.

And might I just say that your son is adorable. I can't help but look at that and imagine someone tumbling his nefarious plans. ;)

He actually has a really good evil laugh. It's almost scary how nefarious he sounds when he laughs.

For the record, as my Santa is from another land far away, I got a book about the poet behind Waltzing Mathilda, and a really awesome tiny wind chime with a robin on top. It's quite pretty. :D
