Mourdock losing is what God intended. Women have a way of shutting elections down, after all.

Also, according to my friends the computers were convienently down when they went to vote, sending them into gross line ups.

And it's too early to call Ohio, although the bellwether, Stark County, is early on healthy in the D column.

Mourdock goes down and Warren get's in. Along with King in Maine, looks like the Senate might stay blue.

King is Independent, and he is replacing Snowe, who was pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro gun control, and voted against the Bush tax cuts, so her seat might as well have been blue (Same Idea for Susan Collins). That being said King was one of the best Governors we have had, and I have high hopes for him in the Senate.

Also: Looks like Maine and Maryland are going to pass same sex marriage, and Minnesota is going to shoot down the same sex marriage ban

Kind of funny that the USA is not a democracy and is actually a republic then.

Yeah, I know, but also look at Montgomery. That's the classic bellwether of the state, and it's gone red. It's not impossible for Obama to take the state at this point, but I'd say it looks likely.

Mind you, I think Florida looks likely to go to Obama, which I'd also not have predicted. But when you look at where the remaining votes have to come from, it's hard to see how Romney can claw ahead barring some really weird swings in the numbers.

The radio station from the area I'm in is reporting overwhelmingly Romney. Fml. No wonder I can't make friends here.

Yahoo news has Florida and Iowa "leaning" for president Obama which puts it light blue on their color map.

Iowa has 70% of precincts reporting and the president has a 19% lead (95,000 ish votes out of 3 million residents)
in florida 95% of precints are reporting and the president has a .2% lead (23,000 votes out of 18 million residents)

I dont understand the logic To me Iowa is a lock for the president and Florida is still a toss up.

Hosk: A part of it is where the votes are coming in from. The biggest set of votes yet to come in from Florida are from Miami-Dade, which is 60% Democrat or so. By contrast, most of the Republican votes in the state come from up north, and have already been counted.

And Macacca falls again. Kaine is genuinely smart guy and good politican and I hope he does well in the Senate.

I think they are set up with one location in the spot that LRR's booth in band land gets set up and a second location in the room their panel is in ;)
