Also, I just want to offer a personal kudos that the add-ons are reduced for those over $125. Really approve! I'll be upping my contrib after payday for sure.

Given we raised over $8k today according to the helpful infographic sig, I think we're going to make it by the end of tomorrow. I'll be even more confident if we get over $130k today.

I do stand corrected by the recent turn of events.

lol

Edit: Yeah, note to self. Do not check the kickstarter at 5 in the morning while dead tired.

well considering we're at 130.4 I think we have a good chance of hitting it tomorrow too. I was surprised how much it bumped up today (I was expecting yesterday due to the new tiers and such, but figured today would only be roughly the same or less). It's probable we might get over 131 by end of day (pacific time).

We were sitting at around 3-4k when I got home from work, and started bugging LRR to send out a Kickstarter update (as that emails previous pledgers) to tell those who didn't watch the livestream of the new tiers and addons. 20 minutes later we were up another $2k.

Yeah I remember agreeing with you about doing that. It makes the Kickstarter seem more alive because its getting "noticeably" updated (aka those emails).

I just kicked in to help start the new season, as it were. Looking forward to the digital album. It is obvious they will hit 135k, the question is, how high can we take it past there? I'm really hoping for those new Crapshots episodes. 8)

Question: Has this been posted to reddit yet, and would it be bad form to spread the word that way? A envision a neat little post referencing their more popular skits (3 Ps3s, Talk Like a Pirate, Microwaves, etc.) and then talking about the kickstarter might be a great way drum up additional awareness and excitement. Just a thought.

C-Could we make it tonight? I kinda doubt it... but... we're getting really close, and there's still 5 hours left kickstarter time. We're already almost up to $131k, and it seems like a lot of people donate when we're about to hit the goal...

I know the LRR crew isn't into tooting their own horn, but they REALLY need to tweet about this thing to remind people every once in a while. Graham has a few times but they should ALL tweet about it at least once or twice a week at different times of day. And tomorrow's Feed Dump better have a Kickstarter ad attached to it. Also have they done an MTGO draft stream and mentioned it? That'd get another segment of their audience.

Sometimes people forget, and every little bit helps. I want them to have all the monies! ALSO I WANT THAT SEXY CALENDAR DAMNIT. That's why they're not pushing harder, isn't it? I KNEW IT. (Kidding. I'm guessing it's because they're super busy.)

They mentioned it during last Thursday's Magic stream, yes. There should be a new video on MtGO Academy tomorrow as well, hopefully they'll put something on that.

There should also be a new Hero's Path video tomorrow. I'm not sure if that'll mean 12am or not, but I can already see a 'private video' in the Friday Nights playlist. we'll see if they put an ad there too.

Turns out not, but that's not surprising, after all, it is an official MTG promotional video. While it is well within LRR's style to put an ad in an ad, I'm not quite sure its WOTC's.

I figured it'd be a big no. Though I suppose that should have been obvious given they uploaded on last week too. Derp.

Damn, I wish I wasn't so damn poor at the moment alas though I am, I still wanted to help out so I was looking at the "All Everything Bundle" for $250 but decided I couldn't afford it if I wanted to eat this week so I settled for the "Definitely Illegal Boy" pack at $150. I will purchase the DVD of season 11 at a later date, hopefully.

It got brought up in Numot the Nummys stream this afternoon and the total jumped like $1000 within the hour.

Self Promotion, its Loading Ready Runs Kryptonite.

Wait I'm really confused here, are you saying the LRR are not self promoting enough or are you saying that because they are self promoting they will get less pledges? Because $1000 in an hour sounds pretty sweet.....help me out here, I'm tired and my brain is no longer working properly.....

He is saying that they're not doing enough self promotion.
Which I would have a super hard time with as well myself.

In light of the complexity involved in trying to understand the new tiers, add-ons, etc, I tried my hand at updating the graph I posted at the start.

(Sorry if someone else beat me to this, I don't have time before work to check the entire thread)

Okay, so:
We're... tweeting about it, posting it on Facebook, and our blog... plus our YouTube, putting ads after the videos...

What other self-promotion (to people who will care) can we do?

(I'm considering doing an AMA on Reddit, but that's all I can think of.)
