So apart from 'Hat Stats', what should be in there? "Creepy Doll"? "Damn it, Steve"? "... in England"?

I've done it 3 years now and while it of course ends after I finish it in a few months or so, I still tend to be in a lot better shape over the holidays than I usually am because of it

I need to try that. I spent most of my time in either my desk chair or my bed, and so I'm still a little stiff from all the hours spent in front of the feed. Maybe next year I'll set my computer up next to my elliptical. It's better than nothing, and goodness knows I don't need to be on the chat at all times...

I just tried to fix the Chandra goggles by unscrewing and rescrewing the screw with an eyeglass repair kit, but it didn't work. :(
Might need to just superglue it.

Here's a cool fact: Exactly one month ago today, Desert Bus For Hope made me quit smoking

(Story-time starts now! Gather round kids. This is mostly copied from an email I sent to Graham a few weeks ago, but he never responded so I'll share the good Christmas spirit with you lot instead :p )

A few days after the end of Desert Bus 7, on November 25th, I found myself feeling kind of down that I'd spent the entire marathon not having enough money to donate ever, and having to agonize over each and every donation. Then I looked down at my table, saw an empty pack of cigarettes, and I thought to myself "I wonder how much I actually spend on those things". I did the math and it turns out, wow, a lot of money. I was a pack-a-day smoker, so all in all it ended up being around 1100 Danish kroner - according to Dengler's handy conversion website, that comes out to around 217 Canadian dollars, every month, for cigarettes.

So I decided that enough was enough, and I promised myself (and the Desert Bus IRC) to quit right then and there, and so far it's held 100%. That's not even the best part though!

The next day, I went down to my bank and asked them to open a new account, and from now on until Desert Bus 8, I'm putting the money I used to spend on cigarettes into that account. 1100 kroner (or however much I can realistically afford), every month, and when we get to Desert Bus 8, I solemnly swear that at least half of whatever is in that account is going to Desert Bus.

Thanks for all the hi-5s guys :)

I gotta give a shoutout to Desert Bus IRC user KidSpanner too - he quit alongside me, and we're currently running a wager - the first person to break and smoke a cigarette has to donate $20 to Child's Play. I'm hoping that we can get to Desert Bus 8 smoke-free and make our donation together then :)

I received my Scribblenauts giveaway pack, but I just realised it won't work for non-America region 3DSs. What's the best idea? Ship it back for a reauction next year, or forward it to someone else here?

Silly region locks. The DS didn't have that problem!

EDIT: I should probably mention it'd be just the game. The hat is oddly region-free. :P
