So here it is ladies and gents. I'd like to thank LRR for the original design as well as being so awesome and Dutch Guy for recreating the image hi re/ super sharp to make it work.

This is the first photo right after taking off the bandages and cleaning. I'll post more over the weeks as it heals up to completion.


I'm so happy with how it came out, now I'm branded a Runner for life.


And lastly as a fan of tattoos and as an excuse to show off my other ones I invite everyone else to show theirs off as well.

Runner 4 lyfe!

I...well, even if I wasn't broke I don't know if I would have the patience to sit/lie there and have someone work on my arm - the pain would be secondary (chronic arthritis makes me a little tolerant to the needle would do) but sitting still? Crap, apart from sleeping, I don't think I stay in one place for more than maybe fifteen minutes!

Huhhh, I never noticed before, but there are some slight, subtle differences in that full version of the logo and the one I used for my vectorising... (Look at the bottom blue and white swirls for instance)

Its fine. So its not 100% to the original, I love it and think it looks great. Also I could always go to the artist with the original and see if he could sketch it out.

The other awesome thing that came out of this is I found a new tattoo parlor with an artist I really like and could do some other work with as I've got several other tattoo desires.

I knew what I was doing, omitting a dot from the Runners design. It wouldn't have fit as well.

Plus, its the LoadingReady Runners, not LoadingReadyRun, the runners pay homage to LRR, we arent them.

We are less than them, as signified by one less dot, and yet more than them as signified by the swirling backdrop which expands from them but covers a much wider area.

I might take a stab at vectorising the full runners logo as well. Can anybody tell me what the Font is? (Using the original font is always better than trying to vectorise letters later. Not to mention a lot less work)

It's generally accepted to be Bradley Graits. You may need to play around and see if bolding it and fiddling with settings gets you spot on.

Hello all, thanks for the big ups. Just posted a new photo in the DB chat, figured I would put it here as well.

This is exactly two weeks old now.

I had an idea a long time ago of tattooing the Lrr logo as a banner on my wedding ring finger, but.. finger tats...hiss... and my wedding rings are just far too purrrrdy to give up.

Wow! I'm a card-carrying WCMLG & even I can't say I'd get a tat for my gang. Props to you!
