MAGfest

Postby AdmiralMemo » 23 Nov 2013, 14:41

Well, MAGfest is coming up on the first weekend in January, and I'd like to know if anyone is interested in it. (Probably only East Coast US Runners would be even interested, but it's possible others might be.)

The main reason I ask is that I have a registration that I paid for in July, and now, it turns out that due to work, I cannot go. I've asked if there are refunds and was told that their policy forbids it. However, the MAGfest crew have told me it is alright if I sell my registration at-cost to someone else, and I can use their transfer form to give it away.

So, does anyone want to buy my full-event ticket (Thursday through Sunday) for $40? (That's at-cost for me, and $10 less than the current registration cost.)

If I can get a buyer by Monday, that would be excellent, even if we have to work out payment later.

I may take you up on this. I was thinking about going to MAGfest.

Y'know what? Yeah, I'll take it.

I keep vaguely meaning to go to MagFest, though slightly less likely to now that Kroze isn't running it. Maybe someday.

MAGfest was a great time when we went, I'd recommend the show.
Sadly, we won't be there this year (it cost them many $$$ to kindly fly us out last time).

Kroze used to be one of the main dudes at magfest, but he isn't anymore.

I will probably go eventually, but it's less important to me now that there is less Kroze.

Bump.

It's actually looking pretty unlikely that I can go, unless I can lodge with someone for not much money, since traveling down there would be expensive already.

So, again, anyone going?

Hmm...I don't think I'd be able to make it due to work issues, but I have a guest room if you can get to National Harbor from Baltimore you can use
