LRRcon Runners Room Share Thread

I remember this being mentioned in the official announcement for LRRcon, but don't think it ever got made. I figure this thread would be good for people looking to room with other people, either with a room looking for people to fill it or people looking for a room.

To make it simpler, I feel like a form might help speed up the process (feel free to ignore it):

Username: (can include 'real' names if you want)
Gender: (if uncomfortable sharing, mention N/A or will share over PM)
Quirks: (Drinking, smoking, sleeping in a coffin. Basically anything you feel is worth a potential roommate knowing)
Looking for: (someone who has a room/someone who needs a room)
Dates: (what days you are looking for/have. Also might be relevant to put arrival/departure times)
Number of people looking for/willing to room with and/or preferred: (Basically, the max number you'd be fine sharing a room with)
Price: (current total for the room or want to spend on a room, can be ballpark and can be total or per night, but should be mentioned)
Roommate preferences: (If you only want to room with other male/female/hampire runners, this would be where to mention it)
Other: (Did I forget something? Feel free to mention it here. Could be a photo so roommates recognize you, something you feel is relevant to the situation, or just a random factoid)

Hope this will help people get rooms and/or roommates where they're needed.

Number of people looking for/willing to room with and/or preferred: Ideally one person in my bed, whther the other two want to share one, that's fine. But I am a fidgety sleeper and I tend to keep people up when they share a bed with me and I would like to not do that.
Price: Whatever the individual can afford to give of their fraction of the room.

Roommate preferences: No undead allowed, though fundead are acceptable.

Other: I will be hopelessly lost the entire time.

And now that I've booked my travel, and bought my tickets, just the thorny issue of accommodation left. I'm perfectly content to couchsurf for the rest of the time I'm in Seattle, but for the Saturday night, and possibly the Friday night, I would imagine it would be nice to be in the hotel. I'm afraid my budget doesn't stretch much beyond 100 dollars. Anyhow, to the form.

Roommate preferences: I'd rather my roommate not be disastrously drunk each night, but barring such unpleasant occurrences, pretty much anybody within reason.

Hekla, it might be worth PMing King Kool; he mentioned on another thread that he currently isn't sharing with anyone but has booked a room, which might mean he's unable to go if he doesn't get a roommate. Anyway, worth bearing in mind.

As there do appear to be rooms left, although they are a little on the expensive side, I should invite anybody looking for rooms to consider sharing with me for Friday + Saturday nights. I will kind of need to book other hotels nearby otherwise, so if you think you might want a shared room, the sooner the better! Either way, looking forward to meeting you all there in a couple of weeks.

I can get a room at the Hilton via points. I've just found this out. This is my life. Anyhow. I can get it for Friday-Sunday.

What I propose is this: I will allow denizens to live there, but since the Hilton Honor Points are essentially translatable into monies that I have spent - at any point, regardless - I will still impose a split of what the room would cost to be divided up into however many denizens there are. Or negotiate, PM me, we'll have tons of fun.

But instead of a "room fee", it will syphon into my air travel cost.

And of course, if I win the contest, all of your spoils will return to you.
