If we're going to throw around crossing the streams ideas we could do a g-mod game mode like TTT or murder though people would need g-mod

Destiny seems like a likely choice for stream crossing

After watching NewLegacy stream Drawful, it also looks like a solid choice.

If Destiny, I can't make it. Also, isn't there a limit of 5 to the team in Destiny?

If I recall correctly (I don't play), it's 3 normally, or 6 for raids.

Correct on the group size limit korvys. Other drawback is that most of us (I think, could be totally wrong) stream from our PC's.

I'm just starting to Stream so I don't really have a set schedule yet, working retail during the holidays doesn't help that. But for the time being here's what I'm planning:

Channel: http://www.twitch.tv/rerout343
Time: Until I know better what I'm doing I planning on Wednesday and/or Sunday around 6pm-9pm EST(Not sure about the Wednesday stream as it would be during Kathleen's and Cam's streams)
What I'll be playing: A lot of JRPGs that I've been meaning to try/replay for a while and never got around to it. I'll probably stream other types of games from time to time as well. And of course continue to feed my FF14 addiction.
Bonus streams: Yes
(edit)Twitter: @rerout343
Set up a twitter to post stream notifications.

I'll jump on the streaming train as well, I think [:

Channel: http://www.twitch.tv/boofinka/
Show name: Attack of the Boofinka
Scheduled time:: Wednesdays at 9am GMT [1am PST], for now; I hope to get a better fixed schedule at work soon.
Chance for bonus streams? Yes
Twitter notifcations? Yes, @boofinka
What I'll be playing: Mostly character action games, for start; we'll see how we go on from there.

Please note that english isn't my native languege; I hope it won't be too much of a problem for viewers.

It's becoming apparent that my computer is developing some serious issues, it's struggling to run simple programs, let alone streaming games. I'm removing myself from the calendar until I can get it sorted.

Well it looks like my schedule is going to be staying about the same for now, so could someone with access to the calender add me? Unless something drastic changes it's definitely going to be Sunday at 6pm EST/3pm PST. I wanted to stream on Wednesday too but it would have to be during Kathleen's stream so I decided against it.

I did make a twitter just for twitch notifications @rerout343

So, I've got a stream on New Years Day. I hope to make it a crossing the stream. I'm looking to get some Multiplayer Stuff down. So if you're interested in either L4D2, teaching me Payday 2 or perhaps some Supreme Commander (FA for pref but i have 2 as well) poke me on Steam or Twitch chat (I'm usually around LRR Twitch)

leg_bot Update

Leg Bot now has the beginnings of a web API that you can use to integrate your current statistics into your stream overlay.

For these examples, I'll use my own channel, but the addresses should be quite easy to figure out.

You can ask for the name of the game currently played or for stat values like this:

http://legbot.ufokraana.ee/api/channel/only_scrubs_skip_leg_day/game
http://legbot.ufokraana.ee/api/channel/only_scrubs_skip_leg_day/stat/death

If you just want the entire lump of data in JSON format, you can also do this:

http://legbot.ufokraana.ee/api/channel/only_scrubs_skip_leg_day

Now, for actual overlay use, you'll need something to refresh that value instead of only asking for it once.
I have provided a simple autorefresh script that works with the API. You'll need a web browser plugin for your streaming software that allows custom styling to make it look nice, though.

This can be found here:

http://legbot.ufokraana.ee/static/apirefresher.html?=channel/only_scrubs_skip_leg_day/stat/tilt

Fellow fan streamer and wrangler of James, RebelliousUno has written his own overlay script that also works with leg_bot's API. Contact him, if you want an alternative solution.
On twitch I am ufokraana (when hanging out) or only_scrubs_skip_leg_day (when broadcasting).
I also operate leg_bot for the fanstreamer community.

Finally, there is now an "Awesome Channels Currently Live" page. It gives you a list of all the LRR related streams and fanstreams that are currently live.

It can be found at: http://legbot.ufokraana.ee/live

I have tried to keep leg_bot's list of all fanstreams as updated as possible, but if your stream does not show up on that page, when live, let me know.
On twitch I am ufokraana (when hanging out) or only_scrubs_skip_leg_day (when broadcasting).
I also operate leg_bot for the fanstreamer community.

So, it's my little brother, who I'm in the process of turning into a fan (I'm fairly sure I've gotten him into Friday Nights, if nothing else). I guess it's up to the mods whether or not to put it on the list.

Who: My little brother Chris, aka "TheDiMono"
Where: http://twitch.tv/thedimono
What: Various puzzle games.
Scheduled time: Saturday, January 3, 12:00 PM EST.
Chance for bonus streams? Yes.

So, now that the new LRL schedule is out, how much rearranging is everyone going to be doing? My stream is scheduled 2:00 on Saturdays, which now falls partway through Adam's stream, but that time is really the only free time I have throughout the week that isn't taken by another streamer. How big of a problem is this (if at all)? I don't want to step on any toes...

I don't think any time whatsoever would be "stepping on anyone's toes"... However, the question is whether you'd get the viewers if you're streaming at the time someone else is.

I think there's little option but to overlap somewhat now. Especially for EU/UK evenings.

So I was at one point going to start a stream just for fun but that has since morphed into a podcast and live stream show with my best friend. Calling our selves The Overly Opinionated Gamers, we hope to start streaming soon, just trying to find a better setup than just using the XBone app.

Anyways, if your interested in giving us a look we are - Overlyopinionatedgamers

Hello all! I am very sorry to say I have not had a chance to see most peoples streams here, as such it feels rude to advertise my own (right now I am still watching LRR's 01/21/15 stream of "Borked by Florbles"!)

Instead I would just like to ask for a little advice. Right now I edit my streams for upload to youtube with windows movie maker which gets the job done.... (disclaimer rant in collapse.)
I Do more then understand it is not a good editing program, but for "free" it is the best I could find. I dislike many things about it like how my MP4's become larger after I have pulled breaks and other things out, or otherwise just lack quality, and of course I often have to fight with it. That said, it does get the basic job done...

I would like to know within a reasonable budget, what PC software might someone recommend for ease of use, fair cost, and quality editing? I would like to make reviews on some of the games I finish, and Windows Movie Maker of course is just not up to it.

In the off chance it matters for opinions I am running a GTX 970, and a 2011 socket intel 3.6ghz quad core, so not lacking for power by any means. I also currently have xsplit saving the raw files in MP4, and likely will continue doing so, even when I just record for review footage.

I ask this here since it first will be used though for basic editing of start/breaks/end with my streams and it seemed like a good place to bother so many kind folks instead of pestering in a new post or the like.
