Re: LRR Community Streamer
Fwiw I've also got a team speak server up and running all the time for any stream crossing shenanigans.
Re: LRR Community Streamer
Fixed the spreadsheet, I am bad at the internets sometimes
Re: LRR Community Streamer
I'd be up for it. Hopefully I'll be streaming more too, but there's very few spots on the schedule I can fit into sadly.

Re: LRR Community Streamer
I think my first stream went alright. I had a few technical issues, and I was insulted and propositioned, but it all worked out.
I decided to do something a little different for my followers though. I mean, Kathleen gives a commercial, and James has the Sub Wall, so I wanted to do something. So I made a MTG card for people based on my initial impressions of their Twitch username, available from the Follower Card list. The real cards are a lot more serious than the one I made for myself:

My streams on Sunday may need to be put on hold for a while since I am currently scheduled to work Sundays, but I hope to be back to my Sunday noon - 3 slot again going into the new year

So, if I am terrible at the game, go offline, and stream just after midnight, I can play it for free?Antitonic wrote:

I might get in on this too. Did a quick test today and everything seems to be working. Will need to do a test stream to put it through it's paces and then maybe start next year. Want to see if I can figure out a streaming schedule that would work with playing Dragon Age: Inquisition for the first time (aka a lot each week ).

Re: LRR Community Streamer
Well, my stream might be off till wed, at least. My computer is seriously not happy with me.
The basic run down is, my primary drive, an ssd, bricked. then my primary monitor died.I've secured a new monitor and I've installed windows on a backup ssd, but it's acting very squirrely. I can't get other drives to act properly. trying to switch out to a few bigger drives, it's not going well. When I get off work, I'm most likely going to shop for a new motherboard.
I would stream from my laptop, but that would mean I'm not trying to fix my desktop, though this may change if I flip the world and give up to wait till my dad get's home and can help fix this.

Does anyone know how I can add a stream to the schedule? I PMed CaffienatedLemur, I believe he is on vacation, so I don't expect him to see it any time soon.

That would be ideal! Could you drop this in the calender for this coming Sunday?

Re: LRR Community Streamer
How's that? I had to guess at working out the timezone from your userbar, but it looks like it all works.

Re: LRR Community Streamer
Thanks, but you didn't have to adjust for the timezone, I already did that myself. For me the stream will be at 17pm, but that's 8am Pacific time (which the calender uses when I open it at least). If you could correct that, that would be perfect.

Re: LRR Community Streamer
So in-between Rucdoc and Ufokraana? When I go to enter an event, it adjusts everything to AEST (the CORRECT timezone ), so my conversions got a little messed up. How's that now?

Re: LRR Community Streamer
Don't know what's wrong with my computer, but it caused me to miss my stream tonight. Managed to get it back up after a few hours, long past both scheduled start and finish times. Seriously going to have to look for any opportunity that works for a catch-up, with probably a different game, due to the memory issues...
On the bright side, I managed to catch a couple of new followers, so I made their cards when I was able.

Ok, I'm now officially on the calender.
Where: http://www.twitch.tv/rednightmare7/
When: 8:00am to 10:00am PST (4pm to 6pm GMT)
What: Currently Starbound, with Crysis 3 and This War of Mine in mind. After that we'll see. I play a lot of different games.
Why: Why not?
Who: Me. Why do you keep asking these questions?
Bonus Streams: Maybe, but not likely.

So... We were talking about Crossing the Fan Streams... How's everyone feel about Hangouts Against Humanity? It's really easy to set up and join. All you'll need is a microphone, so if you already stream, you've probably already got that.

Re: LRR Community Streamer
I have never played Card against Humanity before, so I would be totally up for this. Timezones might be tricky though (GMT +1 here)

Re: LRR Community Streamer
Sounds like a great idea for a Crossing The Fanstreams, we can all find out how awful we all are at the same time!
I'd be in, if I can swing the timing...
