I'm kind of bummed that Gotham won't be back on until January, but Agent Carter will be starting then too.

Things are getting patchy here for entertainment. Films have hit a dry patch (We dont get Big Hero 6 till, like, 4 months, and nothing much else)

TV wise I am enjoying Flash still. Great fun.
Even the Arrow crossover was good, more or less explicitly pointing out why tthat other show isnt for me ("Its ok he doesn't kill people anymore" "and that makes the past murders ok?" ummm :P).
S.H.I.E.L.Ds still a bit patchy, but been good recently.
POI and Korra are still great.

Still, most things are going on a break or are already.

Might try "The Liberians". I enjoyed the films, silly though they are, but quite entertaining. Hopefully the show will fill the gap Wherehouse13 has left.

I just started watching Luther on Netflix. It's intense. I don't dislike horror as a rule, but the violence of this one really makes me cringe.
I've also been re-watching ST:Voyager, and btw, I loved Survivor with the fam back when I had regular TV. Not even guilty about it.

Every year we watch terrible Hallmark Channel Christmas specials, because 90% of the time they fall into "so terrible they're amazing" territory (and 9% of them being SO bad they go beyond even that).
Then we saw a "Christmas Carol" spin-off where the ghosts go to the wrong guy's house. It seems stupid and cheesy at first, but instead of showing the "Scrooge" how much a dick he is, it turns out the neighbor has to watch all the tragedies in the Scrooge's life that led him to be the curmudgeon he is, which inspires the neighbor to reach out to him. It's actually genuinely heartbreaking and genuinely touching at times and I don't know what to believe about life anymore.

That is actually an interesting take on the story.

oww..I like the idea.
Humanising people rather then viewing them as monsters is itself a good lesson.

I think it would be fair to say i watch more Movies/TV shows than i spend time playing games. however i often do it very selectively, i watch shows after the season is ended and watch whole season in couple weeks, that kinda stuff. the exception is GOT which i watch almost as soon as episode is out.

as far as the shows i am actively following right now they are as follows:

Game Of Thrones 2011-????
Walking Dead 2010-????
True Blood 2008-2014
Xena: Warrior Princess 1995-2001

I am also watching Breaking Bad and am in 3rd season.

Just saw the midseason finale of Once Upon a Time. Not sure how many times that show can jump the shark, but its going for a record.
Still watch for the banter really, some great actors/actress's, but the plots been all over the place. They seem to think cramming in as many Disney licenses as possible will keep people watching. Got nothing against little disney references, but the earlier seasons were more broad with its inspiration.

What else...umm..

The Liberians 3rd epp wasnt as fun as the first one, but ok I guess. Its well established 3rd eppisodes suck.

Oh well, theres a Person of Interest tomorrow maybe that will give me some "wow" factor that I need.

Sounds brilliant to me. :D

Theres so many legends we have over all human history the show really has potential to go on forever if they just took a different direction with it. Hell, in the earlier seasons we had Frankenstein in a black and white monster movie world THAT was a cool and unexpected thing. ("No...not magic.....SCIENCE!")

They should focus on trying to play with styles, to chuck around ideas from all sorts of famous storeys.

But instead they stuck cruella deville in it :-/

Indeed. Not fantastic, but a started much stronger then Shield did.
I especially like that Jarvis being the one told to stay behind and then not listen, as thats a troupe normally done by the "plucky female sidekick" style of character.
It also tied in quite well to MCU continuity with lots of nods here and there.

If I have any nickpick (and its just a nickpick) the explosion at the end didnt seem proportional to the quantity even if it was in water.

Stopped watching "The 100". It sucked.

Started and completed "Broadchurch". It was excellent.

Started watching "The West Wing". It's fantastic.

Started watching "Longmire". Undecided.

I am watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix. I watched a bit of the last couple seasons of TNG when they were originally aired but I had never seen the earlier stuff. While it is interesting to see what people thought the future would be like 30 years ago, the quality of some of the early episodes is a bit rubbish.

There's maybe 4 episodes in the entire first two seasons worth watching (at least more than once).

I also caught a couple episodes of Brooklyn 9-9 on the holidays (parents have cable), which reminded me how very, very good that show is.
