So, what I got for Christmas:
2 shirts
pack of underwear
pack of socks
blanket
cord set for iPhone (I don't own an iPhone)
sleep
Yep, I'm in my 30s alright.
Merry Christmas!

Re: Merry Christmas!
Welp, hope everyone who celebrates had a great Christmas day, and the rest had a nice day off.
Okay, I got a nice flannel shirt, some new slippers, a few pairs of fancy (and comfy) socks to go with a new pair of dress shoes...some misc. chocolate, razor blades, a big tube of liniment that works good on my arthritis (yep, I'm in my forties ), and a ticket on a draw for a 'dream home'. Decent.
Here's hoping everyone has a great 'holiday interim' a fun and safe New Year's, which then is a harbinger for 2015!

Hope everyone's Christmas, holiday of choice, or day in late December went well too!
Ooh, and if we're talking about stuff we got, I can show off this wonderful gift from my girlfriend:
It's a big, framed image of my book's cover, and I even got a silver pen to sign it with.
I won't list out everything else (some clothes, mugs, and other nice but practical stuff), but the other highlight was the board game Betrayal at House on the Hill, which I played at LRRcon and thought was brilliant. Also chocolate. Lots of chocolate.

Merry Christmas, One and All.
Fave thing I got this year was definitely the hardcover Firefly Celebration book. It's *like* an art book, but it also has episode filming scripts, interview transcripts, unused episode ideas, conversations with the cast and crew; it's like having a special collectors edition DVD, in Book form.
Probably should also mention that I finally took the time to get myself the Commodore Hustle DVD, cause that's, you know, pretty cool too.
Random others include:
A Darth Santa candy dispenser
Some long underwear
A nice pair of pants
Socks
A Serenity Keychain
A corkboard to finally pin up all my junk onto
A new belt
A TARDIS towel
A Mass Effect calender
A new PS3 controller
A literal lump of coal
And, eventually, art for a Kobolds of Kher Keep token done by my talented sis! The prototype is actually really adorable, a little dinosaur-dog-looking thing running for it's life. So cute.

So I got some candy in my stocking, and some cash gifts, all of which I appreciate, but I'm afraid they simply don't compare to this (collapsed for size):

Re: Merry Christmas!
I would complain about the size of the image but I think the Dual Decks Anthology deserves that large of an image.

I was hoping it was only that large on my computer. In the future I'll resize any photos taken with my phone.

I got silk stockings, white gloves and dancing pumps...man, Christmas got weird when I started doing Regency reenacting.
