Thank you LRR!

Postby Darkflame » 04 Jan 2015, 04:34

For a fantastic year :)

Just saw the Rumble video and had to make a thread of congratulations for keeping the quality up for such a long time.
LRR is, without question, my favourite sketch comedy group. No prefix for "on the internet" or anything else. Favourite. Period. So, yes, right up there with the Pythons or Mitchal and Webb.

I think the number 1 reason why I feel LRR is so good is the shear diversity of sketches. A lot of comedy seems to relay on repeated templates of one form or another, or variations on a theme. While LRR certainly has its running characters and references, generally speaking we have been given a genuine new idea each week for a very long time. And that's amazing.

I cant wait too see where the team goes from here, and what wonders come out of that mystery box!

I agree on every point. LRR and the fans has made just about every day in the year a source of profound joy to me; learning, inspiration, sharing, a little friendship, and endless, irreverent, sleep deprived, heartfelt, surreal fun.

I think the diversity is the key. It'd be interest to see if there is a LRR that likes everything LRR had produced.
