After a week that's been (and will continue to be) unusually social for me, I took last evening to watch a show I'm super into and then read about it online for hours.

Last night I marathoned the rest of Princess Jellyfish on a whim. I'm not happy with all the unresolved plot points, but I enjoyed it a bunch.

IF you can't find them, write them a letter anyway, and post it here. IF you can't think of anyone who'd qualify, use an imaginary friend instead - invent someone, just make it convincing!

...can I go a little bit later on this? I didn't have too many friends in primary school and have, quite frankly, no desire to reconnect with that period of my life. However, there are a couple of people from secondary school (high school to you guys) I haven't spoken to in a while and who my mum was saying just today I should check up on so... that OK?

I'd have to say the same. I didn't spend much time in one primary school to have friends. Move out of boarding school because of issues, left next primary school because a parent of another pupil assaulted me, home schooled for a year then the next primary school was less than a year.

I have memory problems, (only goes back a year or so at most - generally a lot less), so unfortunately will have to invent someone. But not a six foot tall invisible rabbit this time.

Yeah, I was bullied or ignored by my class through grades 1-9, so I think I'll be making someone up(or potentially write something to someone I can't get in touch with), because I have little want for getting in touch with any of them.

I'll see about writing something up within the next couple of days.

It's been a while, hasn't it! Perhaps you don't remember me, honestly I don't entirely remember you - not in a tangible sense, at least. But as everything we experience forms who we become, your friendship changed me in significant ways. Part of the person I've become remembers you.

And what has become of you? Is life everything you expected? You & I didn't ask for much back then - sunshine and good company, but through our later teenage years we all start to want more and more out of life. Did you find meaning? Did you find love? Did you hold onto it?

Can you believe how much time has passed! Back then - I'm sure the days were twice as long, summer even longer still, the grass was definitely greener, the world didn't smell like shit & cars, and nobody had yet fallen into the oubliette of mobile phone obsession. I know it wasn't all roses, but our childhoods contained just enough joy to carry positivity into adult life so we didn't turn out as complete cynical bastards, right? Right...

Anyway, hope you're well - whoever you are, whatever you've become.

Forgot to mention earlier, but had a lovely chat the other day with an old schoolfriend I ain't seen for a couple of years. Ended up discussing ale and whisky mostly, but either way it was great to catch up with him.

Hello, old friend.

It's been a long time since anything we spoke about was passing regrets of what once was, and maybe this time will be the same, but before the mind sinks into routine I want to say that it was fun, and I treasure the time we had. I think about the emails, messages and conversations, and sometimes, when I manage to get my head above the surface of the negativity in my thoughts, I can see past what I regret and smile at what I, and you, did.

Life will never be the same, and the same goes for you and I. Maybe we will meet again and things will be different, and yet somehow be the same, maybe we'll pass each other like two strangers in a crowd, or maybe we can't ever meet again until I myself pass beyond the veil. I don't know, but still I hope that I find you some day, whatever the result may be.
