Re: New Quest Available!
I've backed up the raw files of the few video projects I've been up to. Nothing major, but they're important to me.

We did some backup stuff at work, it was good. I also set up a backup thing for my PICO-8 files into the same Dropbox directory from multiple computers, which is important.

Re: New Quest Available!
QUEST #15 IS NOW CLOSED
Quest #16
Plant a thing! It would be absolutely fantastic if it was a plant or some sort (and if you manage to plant a tree, I may give you extra credit). I know that a lot of you (myself included) do not have a yard or the ability to plant things that you can tend and grow. SO. Get creative with this one. Plant something in a bed of blankets. Bury something in books. I want a few pictures to show the process and the finished thing. You can then take it apart if it's a nuisance.
Quest starts at 10 AM Pacific Time on Monday, Apr 27, 2015, and ends at 9:59 AM Pacific Time on Monday, May 4, 2015.
Good Luck!

Pot, soil, apple core, plant food pellets, soil, water on top.
Then patience, and a larger pot to which to transfer it if it germinates.
Technically a tree, but I don't think it counts as its currently just a seed. I'll psot updates if anything comes of it, though that'll be longer than the quest duration.

Does putting the glass showercabin into my bathroom count as planting a thing? I don't really have time to do anything else right now. (Gotta plant myself into my new home before next wednesday...

Hmmm, the process of planting yourself can count for now. But take pictures of boxes stacked amusingly around yourself if you can.

I won't be able to post a response to this until Tuesday, but I have A Plan for this weekend...

Re: New Quest Available!
I'm feeling ill so I'm gonna plant myself under a mountain of blankets. Would that count, if I also do something I've told myself I should do for a while, which is practicing drawing trees?

Wait, I already did this earlier in the week! I'll take a picture once I'm home.

Re: New Quest Available!
So I have been doing most of these quests but not posting about them cause I get too busy doing this or that. But we planted all our Easter flowers this week.

I planted our Pumpins! Well, pumpkins, but I misspelled our sign. Also our blueberry plant. Now we have to hope I don't murder them.

Re: New Quest Available!
I couldn't swing the challenge last week, too much to do otherwise, but the bf was just talking about getting plants for ourselves about a week ago.
The bf gets the little succulent, and I planted some California native (drought resistant) wildflower seeds in my larger pot there. I'm going to have a private patio at my new apartment in September, so I think I'll expand my mobile wildflower garden then.

Re: New Quest Available!
Mom helped me start a philodendron that we rooted from a cutting of my grandmother's giant plant that wraps around her entire first floor. We transplanted the cuttings into pots for my classroom today.
Mom says I get extra points for having a third generation plant.

Finally enough sunshine and rain for my Nigella to begin emerging, http://m.imgur.com/e3rlEoD . Also on the go are Nasturtiums, Phlox, Dwarf Sunflowers and Forget-me-nots.

You DO realize that the types of sunflowers you planted grow to like... 10-12 feet tall, and that jar is nowhere near large enough to support them, right? These aren't dwarfs, they are giants.

Re: New Quest Available!
I do know that. You can start planting them indoors before replanting them outdoors. : )
This time of year there is still a risk of frost, so planting them indoors actually helps them in that regard.

Re: New Quest Available!
This little bugger has been waiting to be planted for a while now.
In the process
Here it is with mom and grandma. The plan is to get these to grow long vines that can stretch along the walls to make the livingroom greener.
