Best Sketch to show an outside?
Best Sketch to show an outside?
I've been wanting to show my co-workers a LRR sketch to get them into it; Which one do you think would do the job best?
Better known as NovaGirl5, Guardian of Adam Savidan.

The Couch.
Also Papers, Please, especially if they're familiar with at least the premise of the game, and Omnilinigual is a good one if you want something on the older side.

Yeah, The Couch is my go-to, unless I know something specific LRR's done that has ties to their interests.
I usually ease people in through Feed Dump, as it helps them get to know the people in a familiar environment: sitting around, talking with each other about stupid/crazy stuff that happens. Once they're familiar with the people, then maybe move them onto the sketches.

My personal favourite is Eyewitness Accounts though I'm not sure it's online somewhere.

The Couch is also my go to. 'Tis just soooo good!
Depending on the type of person, 'What's Going On?' as well, but that's a little in-joke heavy.

I'm also QuintonDreaming. Stupid username availability prevents me from always being an Icelandic volcano.

It's on the LRR Youtube... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Kqi_dJLLag
I usually do Eyewitness Accounts too. It's got everyone, it's fast-paced, lots of different types of jokes.

3 PS3s, All The Little People, and Down With The Sickness are the ones I generally pick that haven't already been mentioned.
Also, any of the X Ways To Y videos that aren't too in-joke heavy.

Eyewitness Accounts is a very good starter.
I'm personally of the opinion that 3 PS3s might not be a good one to start with. I mean, they might be like a good chunk of the Internet was and think Paul was being serious. On the other hand, they might understand it's a joke, but think that LRR are big jerks for doing so.
Yeah, X Ways to Y are usually good.

I'll second Omnilingual, though most of the suggestions in here are great. If you ask me, Papers, Please is excellent and some of the best Andy available, but it isn't entirely representative of the whole LRR catalog.

Actually, I just watched "Bagel Time" and it's a good one to use due to the density of different jokes.

Dinosaur is another good one.
EDIT: Just watched Echo, and that would probably work too.
As for 3 PS3s, I suppose it depends on the person, but as long as you point out that it's a sketch, I think it should work among the first few you show them.
