LoadingReadyLive? (2006)

Postby Robo4900 » 03 Jul 2015, 02:23

I was listening to some of the older podcasts, and I heard about how LRR were originally going to release a DVD of one of the LoadingReadyLIVE! shows they did in 2006. What happened to that?

For those who don't know what I'm talking about:

In summer of 2006, LoadingReadyRun put together and performed a live show featuring several unique sketches for Victoria's 20th Annual Fringe Theatre Festival. The total runtime was around 75 minutes, and it contained 5 sketches adapted to a live format, 8 original sketches(Two of which were later turned into main LRR videos), an intro video, and an outro video.
Currently, the 64K rap from a sort of "Preview" of the show is available on the site(Link: Here), and apparently at least one of the performances of the full show were filmed, and Graham apparently started work editing it for a DVD release, but nothing materialised.

Confusingly, it was dubbed "LoadingReadyLIVE!", a title almost exactly the same as that of the "LoadingReadyLive" streaming.

Graham and Crew said that the audio quality wasn't good enough to warrant being made into a DVD we'd pay for. I would have despite the audio quality. I want to see the prop guy story.
Graham had mentioned a couple years back of making a DVD of the Idiot Room too.

Maybe they should sell it in volume rather than by quality. "Here's a bunch of stuff that's not very good, but there's a LOT of it." :D Just throw Idiot Room and LoadingReadyLIVE! and a bunch of other low-quality stuff on one disc. :)

I dont think the idiot room is a LRR production, I think that was part of the "make us web content" for the company Graham was working at.
