I said it before and I'll say it again: I think that is incredible. It reminds me of the cloth maps that came with some games in the 90s.

That is awesome!

OccamsRazor wrote:Well, it's finally done! I've got everything together now, and Cards Against Desert Bus is complete and ready to go. I tried to make it a little more...significant, so I had a wooden box made for it as well, which I think definitely added something to it.
I noticed your original thread after the submissions ended and thought it was great. Hope someone suggested Skeletor's Dick as a card, though it may be OP Amazing job!

We did some test games using Pretend You're Xyzzy and they turned out OK. On its own, the expansion was kind of meh, but when you mix in like 3 or 4 other sets, it becomes hilarious.

Thanks everyone!
Incidentally if you look on google maps there is a pit-stop location called "Nothing" right along that route...which was just too good to not include.
Some nice people on DB chat helped me pinpoint the bus stop plots with accuracy.

Gah, that map! So much want!
And thanks RoboNixon! I think it came out rather well, and it's actually quite playable on it's own - though Memo is right, when you combine it with a regular CAH deck, you get some hilarious combinations.
No Skeletor's Dick though In keeping with the spirit of DB, everything is a little less horrible, since it's all for the children.

The prizes are up on the Desert Bus website! So many cool things! I think Schala-Kitty's shadowbox stained glass paper thing is more intricate and crazy than the princess peach one from last year! Lots of quilts and blanket thingies too.
So how many Silica gel variants did you end up with OccamsRazor? (I made sure to send a few packets with Mega Altaria)

Oh man, I probably got about 15-20 variants of Silica Gel submitted.
Still got beat handily by the number of variations of "Beej" I got. People LOVE Beej
