I finally got my ass into gear, my secret santa package is now ready to ship on monday. I'll see if there is some sort of express shipping option that'll mean it might get there in any sort of timely manner.

Got home and found some packages waiting for me! A very nice surprise after I had to shell out to fly home since the pass was closed.



My sister immediately insisted we play Carcassonne and kicked my butt at it, which is fairly typical for playing board games with my sister. The little armadillo's name is Gander and it will stay well out of the way of any cooking that happens. (Also, apparently there are several dishes in Finland called "emergency desserts" that as far as I can tell are just really quick to make in case something goes disastrously wrong.)

My Secret Santa turned up. I should know who it was from because I told them it was me...but the best thing about my memory I forgot who it was from, so I get a nice surprise.

I finally got my package shipped. It MIGHT still arrive in time, but I don't have high hopes.

My Secret Santa package has arrived, but I will wait with unwrapping it all until Christmas!

Some rough calculations indicate that my present will probably not arrive in time for Xmas, but shortly thereafter.

I believe mine will also arrive after Christmas, which I'm sorry about, but it will get there eventually, I promise! (Or if it doesn't, it won't be due to not being sent!)

Just opened the outer box of my gift. The messages on each gift are hilarious.

My favourite part has always been the photos, even when I haven't partaken in Secret Santa. I always thought it was awesome seeing them!

I may or may not have got something today. By that I mean I got a package I hadn't ordered, and it's not being opened until the 25th - because mystery packages at this time of the year can only mean one thing.

Either that or some other person failed to warn me I'd be getting a mystery gift. Either way I'm happy!

Such a lovely spring day this Christmas Eve! (Seriously, 12-15 degrees. I have never experienced a winter this warm). Merry Christmas!

Best item was the Manga: Okami Kodomo No Ame to Yuki. I love that anime, well remembered of my art last year. Awestruck seeing it, needed something positive, this past year and especially the past few weeks haven't been good for me emotionally.

R2D2 and Kylo Ren. I cant seem to get Ren's light saber into his hand but according to the back of the package he is the "Deluxe Silver edition" so I assume he is rare.
