XSplit help

So I want to do a little streaming... but I guess what I want to do is a little non-traditional and I'm having a hard time figuring out if XSplit can even do it.

I have both the Gamecaster and Broadcaster flavors. What I want to do is take Youtube streams or NASAtv streams or Spaceflightnow streams... add my little talking head in the corner and stream that to twitch/youtube.

Basically I intend on giving a commentary and answering questions from the chat during live broadcasts of rocket launches. But so far I haven't been able to get XSplit to recognize a link to the streams as a video source and not just a website...

Is what I'm trying to do possible?

I have managed something like what I want to do using screen capture... I just full screen the stream I want to comment over and it's good.

I was hoping I could pipe in the relevant feeds directly but this will do for now I suppose.
