The 2nd fastest backing decision I've ever made, the 1st being the last season of LRR. I so hope this gets funded, don't even care about the rewards so much, I just want to see this doc so bad! I'll still take the shirt, poster, cards, and album though ^_^

I do wonder why no DB Documentary patch though? I think that would make a nice touch for backers.

So no tier for physical BluRay with autographs? :(

It's not that I hate my money but I would part with a bit more if there was something like that after the all the things tier. ;)

Looking forward to it. :D

Love the shirt idea. If the project is over funded does that money go towards Desert Bus itself? I'm not super familiar with Kickstarter.

I'm not sure I've ever jumped on to a Kickstarter faster to donate. Looking forward to this a lot!

And RoboNixon - Graham talked a little bit about this during a Q&A they did on stream. They said for right now, they're mainly focusing on getting funded at all. After that, there is no specific plan yet, but any additional money will go toward funding the activities of Desert Bus, in whatever form that may entail.

The third thing I have ever backed on Kickstarter.

I have a question about filling the FAQ with silly questions.
Should I wait until the goal has been met or should I avoid it completely and post them here?

I'm waiting on seeing the t-shirt to know if I want to back at that tier, but I'm definitely backing at some capacity.

Maybe this has been answered somewhere but can't seem to find the answer.
The actual documentary,at what tiers do you get that?

FAQ silly must be: Would you squish a baby duck with your bare feet for a million dollars?

Jenelmo - As I understand it, it will be available to all, for free, online (first for the $12+ tier people who can "attend" the online premier).
And then, after it's all said and done, it should be available as a DVD or Bluray.

DVD/Bluray will include special features, which they're investigating making available through digital distribution as well.

I've always been too poor for Desert Bus swag. Never backed anything on Kickstarter either. Coughed up CAD$63 for a shirt. I like DB. I like shirts.

Win-win.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of

What if the reward tier I'm interested in can't be divided into whole beaver pelts? Is there a way to make change for a beaver? I have no idea how your money works.

You can trade in beaver pelts to the Hudson's Bay Company for our Canadian Monopoly money.

My husband says you can trade a beaver for 6 muskrats. Though that may be dependant on the exchange rate.

How much do Canadian geese go for these days? So hard to tell with inflation.

About 3/4 of an American goose.

I had someone a few weeks ago try to make change with squirrels, I knew they were trying to take me for a ride! Six muskrats sounds more than fair so thank you and your husband for that.

On the subject of geese: We have a growing population of Canadian geese that don't migrate. I'm not sure if they are political refugees, there is a residence issue or what exactly. Is there a public department that handles goose related issues or should I refer them to a Canadian embassy?

Er, I would like to apologize. I just looked it up and I should have said Consulate General. My bad. Also, I can be dumb somewhere else in the forum if y'all would rather keep this topic...more...on topic?

Canadian geese are protected in Canada and as such their numbers are excessive. It's hard for a goose to find paying work these days, especially when a post-secondary education is expected for even entry-level positions. I'm not surprised many would choose to become illegal immigrants elsewhere.

This whole forum is silly. Don't worry about it.

They are protected here as well because they are quote migratory birds unquote which is clearly not true. Maybe that's something they only tell us in Chicagoland because they have mob ties? It makes sense, they have some Joe Pesci style traits and Joe often plays mobsters.

In any other thread I wouldn't be worried about it? But it's a kickstarter to raise money to pay a third party so... *shrug* I'll tell 'em you said it was OK :P

I cannot stress this enough: Please do not inflate your geese. The whole process is messy and unpleasant for everyone involved and, best case scenario, at the end you have a very angry and very burpy goose.

As much as I appreciate the directness of the barter system, for this kickstarter I think we better just stick with conventional currency :P

It's an old classic ASKLRR question.
