Your favorite moments of desert bus past
Your favorite moments of desert bus past
Hey guys, I'm going to be writing a thing about desert bus, and I'm looking for a few short clips that might help someone who doesn't know anything about DB get excited/get the vibe of the whole thing. What are your favorite clips from desert buses past?
Re: Your favorite moments of desert bus past
For entertaining purposes, it's mostly Paul or the crew singing.
If you want something more profound there are some great moments online where the crew and guests explain why they drive the Bus.
There are tons of great moments but the one that stuck with me was Cam at DB7 reading "The Search" from "Sum" after the stream ended the first time. (Got the book 2 days later because it fascinated me)

An obvious choice is the million dollar lifetime total celebration.
Pretty much anything from Zeta Shift, especially late-night dub fights.
Kate & Kathleen giving bad advice is probably my personal favorite.
Any of the Sexy Dance tutorials.
Houseboat.

Houseboat followed by Jer and Tally singing (something from Tangled, I think?) destroyed me that year.

Personally, I think it was year 7, I won a giveaway for a Patrick Rothfuss book and was so sleep deprived I kept rambling about something in chat totally oblivious to half the chat and most of the stream saying my name for like two minutes. In the end I regifted the book when I realized it wasn't "The Name of the Wind" too.
