Hey y'all. This will be my second year going to PAX Aus. I met up with a bunch of you folk last time and attended the Runner's dinner at Bangpop. It was a great time and I'd love to see you all again and meet some new faces.

That being said, we're two weeks away now and nobody's posted a thread about it yet so I figured I'd better. Would we all like to meet up for dinner again? Do we wanna do some group gaming? Am... am I the only one going this year? Why has nobody else posted about this? Will I arrive to a ghost town of a convention center, tumbleweeds rolling through the empty panel rooms? Please send your correspondence ASAP; my heart cannot take it.

Yeah, I'm super down to meet up with everyone again. Dinner was good, but I think we should definitely try to organise a bit better beforehand this time. Like maybe decide on a banquet or something before we start, so people can have the right money etc.

Booking a restaurant's one of those things that I think works for a large group but might not necessarily be needed for a condensed one. How about we pick a time and place then meet up decide where we'd like to eat on the fly? It'll allow flexibility in numbers ie. if more show up/drop out. There's plenty of places on the waterfront there that should be fine for walk-ins if last year was any indication.

Is there anytime that suits you all more than others? I'm easy in the evenings, I think.

How about Saturday evening at 7:00pm. Meet outside the main hall and we'll take it from there depending on numbers?

People might be going to the concerts at that time. Maybe Sunday after Omegathon?

That's a fair point. Does anyone have a preference between Saturday and Sunday? Post your preferred times in the thread here. I'm totally fine all weekend so I'm just here to facilitate the meet-up happening.
