Best Game!

Again to get the other end of the spectrum.

For me it's probably "Yoshi's Island" for SNES or "Little Nemo the Dream Master" for NES.

I think the Half-life series. Because from one game you can get so much by means of mods. Hundreds of hours of entertainment from one purchase.

Deus Ex (pure divinity!).
Zelda series since Ocarina of Time (they were great before, but 3D made them PERFECT!).

PS: Haven't played Twilight Princess, yet.
PPS: Secret of Mana on SNES in 3-player-mode!
Can't take the sky from me. Again.

I'm not really a gamer -I'm prolly the only one on these forums who doesn't own a console system at all -but I do occasionally play games on my PC -mostly classic arcade stuff though. The only actual one I've had time to play this past year has been "Indigo Prophecy" (aka "Fahrenheit" outside the US), and it's been pretty cool. A nice mix of action and story.

Zelda a link to the past. just amazing.

but the top of the list, Tetris, I have wasted more of my life in that game than any other, since its the only one that has been played since I got my original Gameboy up till today

I can't stress enough how great Quest for Glory is.

Also, Super Metroid. Also also, Shadow of the Colossus.

Actually, Alex (Steacy, Toronto guy) and I both played that game a lot, back when it came out.

It was relatively kickass.

yeah I remember "Einheinder" it was sweet, it came out either at the same time or shortly after "Final Fantasy VII", it was hella hard though if I remember corresctly, speaking of shooter of the same type "Gunbird 2" for Dreamcast was pretty sweet.

Oh man, gunbird 2.... I wish alex didnt have to sell his dreamcast.... Oh and my copy of ArmoredCore, Einhander AND FinalFantasyTactics (due to a communication screwup).

He still owes me that stuff back.. grrr.

Einhander is just superb in every aspect: Gigantic bosses that speak to you in german and explode like a mini-nuke, great use of the PS1 hardware, 3d but still maintains perfect 2D sidescrolling shooting action, stealing guns from enimies, and has a KILLER soundtrack. Godamnit squaresoft, why can't you do stuff like this anymore?

Final Fantasy XII.
And Starcraft.
And Guitar Hero.

(Final Fantasy is the reason that I haven't been posting much lately..SO MUCH FUN)

"Does she have a grave?" asked Coraline.

"Oh yes," said the other mother. "I put her in there myself. And when I found her trying to crawl out, I put her back."

Final Fantasy is the reason I didn't study for my exams.

Hurrah!

Apparently, you have more sense than I do.

It looks like I'm coming out of the semester with straight A's/A+'s, however, so apparently studying is overrated.
