Saddest Dana Ever :(

Postby Dana » 17 Jan 2007, 22:31

My Guitar Hero save game corrupted, so now I have to unlock everything again. And I am lazy, and stuff.

Commiserate with me!

On the plus side, Guitar Hero sounds way better with my new speakers ^_^
"I swear it," said the other mother. "I swear it on my own mother's grave."

"Does she have a grave?" asked Coraline.

"Oh yes," said the other mother. "I put her in there myself. And when I found her trying to crawl out, I put her back."

Think of it as being able to start over with a blank canvas, a challenge to unlock everything as fast as possible.

I almost lost my GT3 garage / save once.
That was a pretty scary moment in time.

There was another time when I *did* lose everything I'd done in WRC. After each heat in a rally, it gives you a brief "auto-saving...please wait" message, which I interpreted as the game saving itself for me. Pretty sweet! Then about halfway through running the entire championship, I got tired, and figured I'd pick up where I left off the next day. Auto-save, right, so I don't have to do anything. WRONG. START OVER. NO SOUP FOR YOU.

On the plus side, I *did* unlock Killer Queen again last night.
"I swear it," said the other mother. "I swear it on my own mother's grave."

"Does she have a grave?" asked Coraline.

"Oh yes," said the other mother. "I put her in there myself. And when I found her trying to crawl out, I put her back."

I lost a completed game of PokemonXD on my gamecube. It was a sad day. I had, in fact, collected them all.

You're a sad, sad man, Brad.

Oh man, at the risk of sounding like the biggest. nerd. ever.
I once lost my save file to ff7. Here's the kicker. I had done so much in this file that Aeris was level 99.
I had every Materia maxed. All weapons. Pretty much anything you could think of. Saddest day of my life. I feel your pain.

I recently lost a lot of gamecube data.

Because I lost the save card.

I think it may have fell out of my bag and is currently covered in snow...

My Pokemon: Red got deleted a loong time ago...I was really really little, I was crying and threw a tantrum for like half an hour. I was sooo fucking sad, I'd played that file for a damn long time. And I was <10, so..ya know.

Yeah... the whole ordeal turned me off of pocket-sized collectable vicious creatures.

Sad day. Sad day. I piled them all up in a bag and threw it in the river. Oh sure some people complained, saying "Pokemon aren't just for Christmas," but my heart wasn't in it to argue.

I lost my Pokémon Silver file last year and now it doesn't save...

I also lost my PS1 memory card which means that I lost my 30+ hours of FF8, about 10 hours of FF7 and a shit-load of Crash Bandicoot(?) games.

I can see how that would confuse Morgan.
