LOOK ! I DONATED ! :)

Postby Vertigo » 19 Mar 2004, 02:17

Just to make Graham and Paul happy, I've finally gotten around to donating some cash to the site...

Here's to hoping that my $0.01 goes to good use somewhere :)

Stuff

Postby Vertigo » 19 Mar 2004, 11:10

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but I've never worked on Fairfield rd. I used to live over in Fairfield, on Oxford st, and I will be again this summer. I've worked on Richmond rd, Belleville st, Langham Ct, and at UVic. That's about it...

If you want me to, I can certainly try and get a job on Fairfield rd, though I didn't have any plans to up until this point in time.

Anyway, who are you Allen? and how do you know me? and where from? I'm confused.

:?: Wouldn't a $0.01 donation just get eaten by paypal? They have steep handling fees, after all. How much does one have to donate before it actually gets to G, P and the site?

Well, Jer.
Paypal charges about 40¢ per transaction, plus 3% of the total donation.

So basically, Vertigo just cost us the 40¢ we got out of batman's $1 donation.

Thanks, Nic. Smooth.

Nah, it's okay. Nic's donation simply was eaten by the ravenous beast known as PayPal. Here's the transaction report:

Amount: $0.01
Service Charge: $0.01
Total: $0.01 - $0.01 = $0.00

It's really quite thrilling.

You might be thinking of Nik.

The difference in thier names is small, but I don't think you would be confused if you had met them both.
