If you delete idle accounts, when people come back, they'll be all mad. Dana doesn't post often (she's SO BUSY at school), but she'd be pissed. Also, deleting old threads will destroy my precious, precious post-count.

I thought the count was simply based on the number of times you hit 'submit' not the amount that exist?

Well on some forums at least, deleted posts equals lower post count. I'd take that as the norm for all forums myself... only one way to find out.

Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.

You mean you only died twice?

Actually I know (present tense) someone who died (past tense)... ah the wonders of modern medicine, eh?

No kidding. I was all "Seriously you guys, mauled by a pack of over 300 zombie-robot-bears. He's all dead, and shit."
I suppose that was a bit much.

Hi I am introducing myself. My name is ryan and I am forum impaired, it's an official disability. I don't know if I'm supposed to hit new topic or post reply, I'm going to try post reply. If anything suddenly explodes it is probably my fault.

Well, a topic is like this. Its basicly a string of messages. Such topics are like these:

the movie name game
Here in my car.....
google is taking over the world!!!
[ Poll ] "I'm kind of drunk"

So to hit "New Topic" would allow you to create a new one of those.

To reply in the string of messages, is to place a message at the bottom. Its quite simple, IMO ^_^ Good luck!

There doesnt really seem to be any rules here, except for common courtacy. The only thing is IF YOU CALL GUMBUBBLE "CUMBUBBLE", I WILL DETEST YOU!
But have fun ^__^

Hi, I've already made a couple posts, but I suppose I should introduce myself here.

My name is Dan, I'm from New York state, I am 16 years old,

A few of my interests are: Philosophy, Music (composing), Ultimate Frisbee, Politics, good ol' hippie love, and perhaps I'll edit this post some more if more interests come to mind (isn't that weird how i can't remember all of my own interests?)

Anyway, I love the site. I also would like to see more satire. You people are pretty good at that.

Well, I don't know if I can put a name of a genre to it, but i love fooling around on the piano a lot. I do a lot of fast-paced minory stuff. I'm starting to incorporate a little jazz into my music.

Before I got hooked on the piano, I was (and still am) playing djembe (west african drum)

Ya rly!

Say, I'd hate to sound like a 'n00b' but where'd that 'O rly' jazz start up anyway? And what is it's association with owls?

I guess it came from a game or something? I never play computer games or anything like that, so I really don't know.

hi

Postby brc64 » 07 Feb 2006, 12:45

Work is slow today, so I thought I'd say hi.

Hi.

Also, I'm very upset because my LRR DVDs are being held hostage in the apartment office that's always closed by the time I get home from work. :(

Welcome to the forums!

Who has your DVDs and why haven't they been "dealt with" yet?

The DVDs apparently arrived yesterday, but since they were too big to fit in the tiny mailbox they give me, they were left at the apartment office for me to pick up. Unfortunately, the apartment office closes before I get home from work, and doesn't open until after I leave, so I'll likely have to wait until Saturday.. wait, I'm going out of town this weekend..

NOOOO!!!

I suppose I could call up the apartment manager and ask her to drop the package off in my apartment. Or perhaps I could run by the apartment during lunch one day this week. That might just work.
