Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hey guys, Vanguard here (obviously). I've been a member of The Escapist community for a while and I'm an occasional contributor to the magazine. Apparently I'm a narcissist for bringing that up, but that's beside the point.
I've been watching stuff by the LLR gang on The Escapist for a while, but I've been brought into the cult in earnest thanks to Desert Bus. Not I'm realizing how much sheer awesome I've been missing out on this entire time. I should be ashamed of myself...

In the context of booze I'm going with a White Russian.
Quick, guess who watched "The Big Lebowski" too many times when they were a kid?

Hi my name is Carson, until very recently I was only vaguely aware of LRR through my room mates Chris and Phil who seam to devote a huge amount of time to watching yours videos and other stuff, I think I may be the only native Texan on here seeing as most of you seem to be Canadians, but I just joined so I haven't had time to look around yet.
My main interest are Scifi and military history(huge BSG fan), recently I moved up here to Chicago which was a bit of a culture shock to say the least (there's alot of just down right rude people up here) I Moved up here to look for a job and see my mom for the first time(long story it's late here right now don't feel like typing that thaaaat much right now).
Well to cut a very long story short I'm twenty years old and work at compusa as a door guy (lots of fun that is:P)
and now I can't really think of anything else to say right now sort blank right now..., beside the fact that reason I'm on here now is I finally broke down watched Desert Bus for a while, and figured y'all where a nice personable bunch and that I'd go ahead and join the forums see if I could maybe become part of the community so... I guess that's it for now.
Oh and afew minutes ago I went ahead and donated it wasn't much but I'm kind of low on cash right now.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Although I am not technically a new member, it has been so long (perhaps too long) since I posted here. I am terrible for keeping up to date with forums. I will try harder!
My name's Amanda, I'm 22 and from Birmingham, England. I am currently studying Illustration at Birmingham Arts Institute and work part time in HMV. I like video games, manga, art, photography, comics, nomming, cats, reading and exploring new places. I currently have bright red dreadlocks and look like Knuckles the Echidna.
I would write more but can't be arsed.

'Ello, I'm Sal. I first heard of LRR a year or two ago, and then completely forgot about it, until half a year ago or so. So I watched all the uploaded videos and whatnot, and this Desert Bus event finally convinced me (for whatever reason) to join the forums.
So, uh, yeah. Ask me anything..?
I might also add that I love how Morgan pronounced my name in the feed.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hi, Icefall here. I first learned about LRR from Unskippable on The Escapist and have been quietly watching for a long time now. With Desert Bus going on and seeing what a great community LRR has, I thought I'd make a forum account and get to know everyone better.
/wave everyone ^_^
I'm rather shy and quiet. I play FFXI (yeah, I know it shouldn't have been numbered) and a wide variety of other games. I also enjoy reading, writing (love this), crafting (sculpture, origami, crochet, etc), doodling in photoshop, and watching anime.

Heyo Loading ready run people. I've known of you since 3 ps3's and I've been a fan. I was just reintroduced to you via randomly finding desert bus and watching it for three days!
I have an interesting LRR story actually the first year LRR went to pax (west coast) my friend spotted Paul, knowing i was a fan at the time he told me to go say hi, it was the first time I've ever been star struck and as an enforcer at pax I've escorted MANY geek celebrities but Paul of all people was the person I was start struck by.
