Heh - accountants, lawyers, journalists, and economists are all jobs where as long as the easily checked facts are correct, you can get away with all kinds of things.
I think that a corporate geek is probably one of the higher paid breeds, because that kind of geekiness goes well with a day job.

You'll find that a lot of regular members tend to ignore the sticky topics after a while; sorry about that. You're better off posting in the 'picture of yourself' thread if you want to get properly noticed.
That said, welcome! It sounds like you'll fit right in.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Like half the people posting in this topic, I am new to the forums here. Let's see, my first introduction to lrr was probably one of the earlier Unskippables, probably the Final Fantasy XII one. Although I did not actually watch anything else from here until a few months ago.
I am a 25 year old graduate student, with another 2-3 years until I get my Ph.D. in chemistry. I live with my fiance and our awesome dog, Calliope. Sadly, I was forced to move to Texas for school, and look forward to moving back north when done.
I enjoy strategy games, such as the total war series, but have games in most genres that I do enjoy. As I grew up with a smoking fast 28k internet connection until starting college, I never played much online.
I played a good deal of DnD 3.5 in undergrad, but after moving away from my friends, I haven't played since. I first played MtG in 4th grade, but I have no idea where any cards. I did decide to spend some time with it again, and so I'm just starting back into it with the new Duels of the Planeswalkers game. If anyone wants to play a game against a complete n00b, look for me on steam.
Um, my avatar comes from Battle for Wesnoth, which is a kick-ass hex-grid based strategy game free online, which I highly recommend, along with DwarfFortress, which is somewhat like minecraft, as it has been continually developed by a single guy for something like a decade. Best of all, the game is entirely in ASCII.
And I have no idea what else to mention. Hope to see people online.

My actual name is Jesse Sebree (There is no official way to pronounce Sebree in my family because we changed it so much from the original, no joke.)
I live in a place called Yuma,AZ. It's a desert and is very humid, They say it is a dry heat, but They LIE. "They" are molepeople I assume.
My forum name sums me up pretty well. Though I am partially awesome at wasting my life on watching movies, and makeing people hate me.

It's a compliment. Once you spend more time around the forums you'll understand how the reverse insults/jokes work.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hot damn but it's been a long time since I joined a forum. Salut, all you crazy peoples; I am a person who thinkes it silly to repeat your name on a forum when it's right bloody next to every poste you make. XP
I've been watching LRR for a year and 6 days, which I only just realized by lookeing up the air date of the first video I watched, "Canada is Sorry". I saw the title in the Escapist's featured videos while watching some Zero Punctuation, and, being a displaced Canadian myself, couldn't resist taking a peek. Quite pleased I did, as I've enjoyed most everything to come out of this troupe.
I decided to register 'cause I've come up with a few humorous tidbits over the past year that I thought would be fun to share, so...we'll see how that goes. =)

Thank you for calling tech support, how can I be the outlet of your misplaced frustrations today?

Hello Garovo, just so you know some people are going to call you out on the spelling and grammar. If this is a joke post, good one, just a quick warning.

I can spell and use proper grammer. I just usaly don't becasue its the internet and for words I can't spell it's annoying to have to use word to check them seeing as I hate all those toolbars and firefox messed up my computor when I used it. I could have typed this in 1/100th of the time if I would have used my normal internet wording/spelling. haha(or XD if haha sounds condecending to you like it does to me on the internet)

I honestly don't know how I put off joining the LRR forum for this long, but due to the sudden influx of sublime new series', thought the time was right.
Loved you guys for a long time, hopefully you'll tolerate my backward, upside down presence (Australian).

Why didn't you get an army scholarship for your Aeronautical Engineering seeing as it'd pay pretty fucking well.

So... erm... it's been so long maybe I should reintroduce myself?
This seems like a cheesy idea, but I wanted to return to the forum and didn't know where else to post. I have absolutely no idea what is going on in this forum any more, I'm not sure who even knows / remembers me or anything. Not that I was amazingly active even when I WAS on here.
So yeah... hey guys.
