Bloody hell, another Belgian. That's dangerously close to the Netherlands, you know...
On brighter notes, welcome, enjoy yourself, don't go near Elomin and don't sign anything.

Greetings. Im one of the 2253 backers of the recent LRR Kickstarter. I wish I could have contributed more than $50. On the other hand testicular trauma is always funny .

Welcome to Nick's lair (Also welcome back)! I would wave, but he bit my arms off. I would say more but typing with my nose is difficult and time consuming.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hello Everyone!
I am relatively new to world of LRR (been watching since the first Friday Nights Episode) and just joined the forums after tonight's twitch cast.
A little about me. My real name is Steve, but my stage name is Cryss Cross (meaning yes, a drag queen has invaded this forum) and I am 22 years old. I am big into MtG and a wide variety of video games, both console and PC. I am a Stage Management / Theatre Major at Northern Kentucky University. And that's the basics!

It's only going to be more awesome than an army of Hamsters riding bareback on Unicorns while playing the bagpipes on their way to Candy Mountain.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Salutations.
My name is Matthew, and I go by Canagaek on pretty much the entire internet, except for Twitch, where it was taken already and thus am stuck using Canadiangeek and can't change it on the IRC client as it kicks you if you use /nick.
Lets seem, I'm in my mid-twenties, working on a Master's of Chemistry at Simon Fraser university, and I'm interested in the standard geeky things: Computers, science, tabletop RPGS (Mostly GURPS and the Call of Cthulhu these days). Oddly enough I don't play MtG, despite owning several hundred magic cards; I just really liked sorting them when I was younger, and if you don't care how old or good the cards are, you can get a lot of them cheaply.
Oddly, I can't figure out when I started watching LRR, as I don't have chat logs that old, and the first thing I did of course was rewatch all the main episodes they'd put online so far. I think it was in high school, thus pre-2005, but I'm really not sure on that; it could have easily been when I was in my 1st year of uni, thus 2007. I'm pretty sure I saw a bit of the first Desert Bus, but not much.
So yeah, I heard about the forums but figured they would be super-crowded and busy given how popular LRR is, so I never bothered to join until after the Kickstarter.
So yeah, salutations. *Awkward wave*

Thank you very much. I'm just trying to figure out which parts are active and which are dust covered.

Canageek. I just have to say, nice monodrone avatar. Seeing that prompted me to finally post on the forums. I do perfer DiTerlizzi's version, but I tend to prefer his version of anything... http://diterlizzi.com/home/games-gallery/#!lightbox[games]/51/
Also, STEM subjects FTW! Biology over here. I turned down a sure-thing master's program for a job in IT. Now I've got a cushy system admin job and a degree in Biology gathered dust. It's a mixed bag.
I'm east coast United States. Being such I'm sad LRR wont be at PAX East this year, but I understand. Congrats to James!

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Salutations; This one was posted as an animated gif on the WotC website for years and years, so I grabbed it as I like Mordons even if I don't like Planescape.
I do like Tony, but I think I have to go with Larry Elmore as my favourite D&D artist.
I'm in Vancouver, so I could in theory go to PAX, but well, there are other gaming cons I'd rather go to (Gencon, Origins) for various reasons, both political (lets not go into that here), thematically (I'm more an RPG gamer), and socially (A lot of my Friends from Ontario go there, would be nice to see them again, and my Dad might be able to get time off work, and we haven't done a gaming con together in a while).
