My moon, my man (Feist music video)

Postby emma » 10 May 2007, 12:26

Normally I wouldn't start a topic for this, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it - this is Feists new video, my moon, my man.

I don't understand how Feist can make something so geeky so cool.

she is so rad. words cannot describe. i bought three of her four albums the other day, and i plan on buying the other one (monarch) at the concert. i should also point out that i haven't bought an album for many years prior to buying these ones.

I don't actually own !any of her albums, oddly enough. I do have everything she did with Broken Social Scene, though - and she is really good in concert!

Upon 2nd viewing, an awesome video. A lot of long takes in there... and you know I'm a sucker for long takes.

Well, you do now, anyway.

Yeah, I noticed that too! The first two minutes or so were all one shot, and other than like one break in the flashy bits, the rest was pretty much one shot too!

I like the dancing, too.

It's a pretty rad video, but her best is totally "One Evening". Shadow puppets and dancing with Buck 65, awesome. I like that song better too.

Children of Men was a great setting in search of a plot.

Feist is awesome though. Not only is she a great singer, she has killer stage presence.
