Any of you lot who have been wondering where I've been for a while, here's the skinny..
I got a new job, which I started last week. Service Desk Analyst, for Aviva (or Norwich Union, if you're a britfag like me ).
Whi has a fuckton of manuals, and shit to learn. I got clearance to bring one manual home at a time, to learn here. Yes, I had to apply for security clearance for them =\ Which means no pics...
Anyhoo, I've been learning those for a bit, and I've been playing FAR too much WoW as well...
But hey, I should be back for a while now
Where's that guy been?
Where's that guy been?
One Bot to rule them all,
And in the darkness lag them...
And in the darkness lag them...

And only just now have people been noticing it. I've had it for aaaaaaaaaaaaages
But anyhoo, job, which pays about £1k/month (about C$2,200), which is relatively easy. In house tech support, which means a pissload of password resets on mondays (when the whole group systematically forgets everything...), and nothing important for the rest of the time...
I say 14.2/yr, but it goes up after the first 3 months...
Oh, and all the department heads are in house promotions as well. The direct team leader started on the desk, about a year ago. His superior was on the desk 3 years ago, and the deparment head started on the desk about 5 years ago (off the top of my head). Which means so much more potential than just desktop support...
