There's a new picture posted on the 1-18-08 site. Looks like people having difficulty breathing due to gas or possibly dust from explosions. Timestamp is 12:48. No idea if there's any significance to that.

I suck at puzzles.

I saw the trailer when I went to watch Transformers, and I didn't see the freaky evil girl. Maybe it was just that i missed it, but just putting that out there.

The 12:48 timestamp may in fact be from the 48th minute of the movie.

They could be releasing screenshots of the movie...

By inverting the image, you can see that there is definitely a fourth person in the picture (second from the left) and he his holding something.

Everyone is covering their mouth, I'm guessing from dust because of crumbling buildings.

I have to agree, that does have some meat behind it. However, as with any spoilers or theories, the ultimate test is "is it true?".

But I think we can all agree that it has something to do with a spritual/religious/cultish belief around the end time of man and the destruction of Earth. (which would explain more the early-on 'connection' to EthanHaasWasRight).

It seems like its a classic story line: man sees vision of destruction, shares vision with world, world writes him off as conspiracy theorist or lunatic, strange events occur, world realizes man was right, too late to save world, but man can save few to rebuild society.

Goddamn JJ Abrams is good.

The reason people connected it with Ethan Haas is because Ethan Haas and the trailer both came out on the same day.

Based on what? Now that the Haas/Cloverfield connection is broken, there's nothing to suggest anything like that. In fact, the only thing we know at all is what's in the teaser and the pictures on the site.

Added a new pic... and changed the way the pictures work.

You can flip them if the picture is on top. Grab one and move back and forth real quick.

Two of them have writing on the back... This may have always been the case.

Okay even though we squashed the ethanhaas-cloverfield reference, it's August 1st, the date that the ehwr.com site lists as the day that we are 'supposed to gather'.

I have already gone through and finished those puzzles so I am 'in the system' if you will. I will let you all know what the ethan haas thing is REALLY about.

As for 1-18-08, it is getting really weird, since the pics have notes from wellwishers more than anything. This mystery will be interesting to see completed too.

how did you come by this information and can you link it?

I also got bored and when I put the zoom for the site into 400%, the pics stayed the same and the frame got bigger. Big enough to make myself a nice vertical timeline of the photos.

At this point, I even thought of something mathematical to explain the photos. At 12:01 and 12:04, the party is in full swing. At 12:36, we get the devil hair photo, at 12:48 we get the smoky photo, and at 1:24, we get the National guardsman photo. For the hair photo time, 1=1, 1+1=2, 1+2=3, and 1+2+3=6. It's the only one though, as the others are a double of the number before it (1*2=2, 2*2=4, 4*2=8...). As paranoid and sleepless as it is, I would like to submit that it has something to do with the numeric date, "1-18-18" (or perhaps to help further discussion, "01-18-08").

And with that, I sleep.

The Slusho.jp site has been updated, as well, including new features like the store, Happy Talk(where you can hear random quotes, some of which are... creepy), and flavours, which is... giant robots?

I'm fairly sure the Happy Talk page shows quotes that people have emailed them. If you email the [email protected] (I think that's it, didn't look again) you get an automated response. I believe that the happy talk is just quotes from there.
